Pico 4 All in One Virtual Reality Headset (128 GB)

The media could not be loaded. Perfect for wireless or wired PCVR like BeatSaber or Half-life Alyx, and Best Standalone headset currently on budget! (With STILL expanding Standalone Games library!)- Dedicated 4K quality gameplay recording feature and an extra media button on the controller is just what everyone else will be missing, and can't tell how much this is needed unless you try for yourself!- Tracking seems flawless and Color Passthrough is a good addition for more aware surroundings.- Higher FOV and Resolution makes everything look super-crisp. I can't see any individual pixels whatsoever.- I didn't had any QC issues on my 2022.11 unit, and seller was also kind enough to update me on every step of delivery. If you have some issue you can replace it without any hassle, as seller was kind enough to assure.TLDR, if you are mostly interested in PCVR and only casually touch standalone gaming this is just perfect.. I'm running my headset with a gaming laptop wirelessly, and this still works well with no latency whatsoever.

This headset has a much better config than quest 2 but there are sacrifices on the software side so if you are buying this to play standalone Pico games then please don't buy this because the standalone game library of quest 2 is way better. But if you have a good gaming PC with GPU power similar to GTX 1070 or above this is the best wireless PCVR headset with pancake lenses, wider FOV and dual 4k displays which is way better than quest 2's single display and the image quality using virtual desktop is crisp and clear even using a h264 encoding @100Mbps over 5GHZ wifi6 router.pros (over quest 2):1. 4k dual displays 1200ppi gives more sharper image2. Wider FOV of 1053. Pancake lenses, so no need for distortion correction4. Weight is more evenly distributed around the front and back of our head and is more compact and light.5. There is full color passthrough mode available with 16Mpixel front camera but it's in 2Dcons (over quest 2):1. New headset so standalone Pico 4 games library is not as big as Facebook's games library.2. No headphone jack on headset.3. Sideloading standalone android VR apps is limited (not many supported available yet).4. Face gasket is a bit odd; can be uncomfortable for some users for me it works fine. It even became super comfortable after I compressed the top foam.*I had to use a free VPN client to create an account and register my payment method as my ISP blocked these services for some reason but after creating an account everything works without a VPN.*I have not faced any issues with tracking IMO these controllers are much better.*If you want to use Open Composite runtime you have to use it inside SteamVR because Virtual desktop doesn't support any other runtime than SteamVRIn the end if you are buying this only for playing wireless PCVR then it's a much better choice than quest 2 but just know that you need a pretty beefy GPU and a good wifi6 router with 5ghz to take advantage of its full potential but it will also run PCVR games at 4k+ on low to mid range GPU like GTX 1070 if you are ready to tweak steamVR settings manually and I mean through a text editor. SteamVR works fine both on my old PC with a GTX1070 and my new PC with a RTX3080

I updated to 5.4 firmware too fast, should have tested default firmware for sometime to see features, quality and performance because auto firmware update could be India or nearby region specific. Set my location as Australia since no India option. SteamVR works smooth with my rtx3050 gpu 16GB ram, but I used provided cable for high quality, not WiFi stream. Usb-c to 3.5mm works without DAC chip. my 256GB Usb-c pendrive too worked but got warm. Not tried pvcr virtual desktop etc yet. Casting to and from both work. Will find more battery attachments. But eye foam frame attaches using plastic locks, not magnetic locks as in youtube videos

As a first time VR headset user, i loved this one.The quality of the lens is really awesome.I am not a hardcore gamer but the experience what i had with Pico 4 Vr headset is awesome.VR Assistant for Pico app is not available for India in Playstore but you can able to download the apk from 3rd party site and you can install it in your phone and its works perfectly fine where you can check and buy games everytime...Pros:Evenly distributed weight and its comfortable.You can sideload any apk files.Headset quality is good and the new lens provides some high quality visuals.Sound output is good.Type C + 8GB Ram + Quick Charge is really good upgradeCons:Game library is very small compared to quest but its growing every week, you need to wait atleast a year to get most of the games from quest library but for me its fine because i am spending very less time into this Pico 4 VR headset every week.Battery backup comes for upto 2 hours max.Sound output could have been better.

Always look for the defects such as wavy lens or distortions if you dont have any of those you are good to go.For me Its an QC 2022 11 edition so i have some issues like wavy lenses recently i would try for play a bit and if its not good would go for replacement,But overall its very good product and review intact only bummer is i should care for this product more than my mac since no warranty

The VR technology is developing but in India, there are only limited applications that the vr headset supports. the world page for creating your own world - GONE!,Even Amazon prime video is not supported.I recommended buying to experience the tech one, but to my Indian Colleagues, please don't waste your money. Not useful at all.

Better than Quest 2 in terms of quality and comfort. But not as user friendly as Quest 2Works like a charm with Virtual Desktop and PC (I used it with my ethernet cable)Can't Buy anything on the Pico store. You need a work around.
