I do love these boots, they feel well made and look nicely fitted. There are several points that need to be made though, as these wont be for everyone. .. firstly, theyre not very high, which is great for me as i cannot walk well on high shoes.. so the angle of the foot is great for this.They're also ok for wide feet, not narrow at the foot at all.you must be aware that the width of the leg is VERY narrow, so these are great for skinny legs. They do have laces at the back that can be adjusted to suit, but this can only be done to a certain point. these will not suit larger calves.lastly theyre not too heavy either, quality made but yet still not too heavy to walk in.Theyre also true to size id say.for me they also come right up to the knee and im 5'6Hope this helps.

These are the prettiest and comfiest boots I’ve had in years. So happy I splashed out on leather boots for my b-day! They don’t fall off the calves, like that other reviewer said. In any case, they come with laces at the back. Also, I like that they’re not tight around the ankles. Plenty of wiggle room. So smooth, simple, and understated! I love, love, love them.

I read previous reviews before purchasing these boots. The reason being I have very slim legs and was looking for a fitted bootThe idea of a string at the back swayed me into buying as I thought they could be adjusted to fit.Firstly, I am very happy with these boots and have to say that I do not understand anyone’s bad reviews as they are very well made, very comfortable and extremely soft leather. The boot is not as fitted as I would have liked but I have nothing bad to say about the boot itself. I’ve had compliments when wearing them and no regrets about purchasing them. They’re extremely comfortable and very warm for these cold nights.I am actually very happy with my purchase and recommend them..

The boots are good to look at, but it is hard to pull up the zip, and i have slender calvers too. You can adjust the tie at the back a little, but not enough and I live in horror of the zips breaking open when I walk. I did try to get a refund but they made it very difficult and I understood I would have to have the cost taken off another pair. There wasn't another pair I liked and I wasn't very happy with arguing about them as these things rarely work out as you want. In the end I just struggled on. But I wouldn't normally pay this much for a pair of boots off the Internet, and I won't again.

Couldn't get a good fit with these, the smaller size fits better on the leg, but squeezed across the toes. The next size up is too big all over, even with the laces tightened to the max. Sadly returned, as wasn't after welly effect or unglamorous hobbling. The mousse leather is soft& overall quality seems good. Probably better for those with medium but shapely calves? Wish manufacturers would realise that bigger feet doesn't necessarily mean heftier legs.

Wonderful fit soooo comfy, I have arthritis in my feet I need a wide fit and spongey soles this is my third pair now of Fly boots I can’t recommend them enough it’s so hard to find something that fits comfortably that you can wear straight away causing no sore feet no rubbing and are stylish!!! I’m 48 not 88 (as my feet are) so I’m very pleased

I'm amending my previous review as today I received my refund, 3 weeks after I sent them back.----------- previous review -------This would have been my second pair as they are lovely. But this pair in particular came with 3 scuff marks. One of them too big to ignore. I returned the boots more than a week ago and I am still waiting for a refund.

I love Fly footwear. I was surprised when they arrived that they actually fit me, after looking at the reviews, that they are particularly narrow boots. I had no problem doing them up. I have 16 inch shapely calves and they were fine for the fit after loosening the back laces a bit. I must have very slim ankles, as, as much as they are designed for a ruched ankle look, I felt they didn't grab my ankles enough to give support and felt like the boots were sliding down a bit. Although the ruched effect on the ankle some people might like, I really didn't. I do prefer a more fitted, shapely boot so that was my error in purchasing them.
