Good lil project
Didn’t expect much but it turned to a great project to assemble it with the kid. Steering is very difficult as it either does full right or full left but it makes entertaining donuts.

Great kit - needs a few changes to be exceptional
Overall, great simple kit. It's truly a bare bones set up, but that's consistent with the price, and was great fun to assemble with my son. A few things are needed to make it better:1) the small orange bushings that are used to secure the small metal posts that allow the front wheels to steer aren't tight enough, as such, we have to re-tighten them after about 15 minutes of driving around2) the little glue stickers are neither easy to apply, or sticky enough. Why not just use the little screws everywhere, it would be much easier3) the remote control range is too short - you need a better transmitter.4) There should be a wooden handle part for the remote control. It's just hard to hold as is.

Works but little bit flimsy for the cost
It is OK toy to experiment with but gets worn out and flimsy in no time. Mechanical steering regulator is not functioning smoothly and that is where the weakness of whole construction. So your front tires get stocked in one position and you are doomed. Cheap materials.

Do not over-tighten screws. The wood will strip.
Kids don't understand the importance of not over-tightening screws. Car will sag under it's own weight and won't steer if screws are over tightened. It came with one replacement part that I needed, but I had to use a twist tie to reinforce the metal axil holder onto the wooden frame since the screws were stripped out in the soft wood. Very cool toy. LOVED playing with it. The batteries didn't stay in the car's battery holder. I had to use the velcro strap with a spare wood bit wedged in in order to hold the battery in it's housing. Some inconsistent performance based possibly on weight distribution over the wheels, but it would drift on one side and turn hard to another side. Very light duty but fun on hard floors for sure. Not good on carpet. Will pick up hair in the axels. Had fun assembling with two 10 year olds. They gave up at step 11.

STEM Remote control car
Purchased this for my 11 year old for Christmas, he found it easy to assemble, and is impressed with the functionality. It was the perfect gift as he loves to build and it was the perfect size to allow for rather quick assembly and easy to store when not in use.

Not durable at all
It’s super touchy if the wires are just a bit off it doesn’t work. We bought it for our kids school project barely used it and to of the wires broke off the remote. Great concept unfortunately not very well thought out and zero durability

Awesome!
Literally kept my 11 year old engaged for 3+ hours. Great little toy! Drove great! Make sure you buy the right batteries in advance.

Poor steering design, no servo
This car doesn't use a servo, so it can only go left or right after the first time it turns. Straight ahead is not really an option.
