Casio KL60 Label Printer with Free Tape

Easy to operate with a selection of tape widths to choose from. This is the second one I have bought and they work for a long time. I bought another brand and it only lasted 6 months.

Purchased for labelling AV, HDMI, etc cables. when you have loads of cables like speaker wires, HDMI, etc it is a great idea to lable them near the ends so if the need moving, or come out by accident, etc then easy to make sure they attach back to the right connectors (with 7.1 surround getting the cables in the right ports, black/red can be a nightmare if you move the amp and some of the bananna plugs come out!) this can be used for making labels for pretty much anything, as this prints it is better/more advanced than the type that stamp into a strip. as full QWERTY keyboard you can also type pretty much anything.

Works well. Controls are easy to use, there are a good amount of options for adjusting the size of text, the spacing and various other things. One nice spect is that whatever you have typed does not dissapeare as soon as you have printed the label so you can print multiple times without having to retype. It is battery powered so you do have to fork out for them however they last a long time so unless you're using it constantly it's not a problem.Because it's a Casio there are a good variety of tapes available even if they are a little expensive. As mentioned in some other reviews it does have a bit of a problem when cutting the labels off as sometimes the end can get caught on the inside of the machine and won't come out properly when you print the next label. It's not a massive problem however does get a little annoying if your are doing a large number in a row. Apart from that the machine works very well and for the price I would definitely recommend.

I bought this and I am glad I did it is more robust than the last one I had which was a market leader it has more functions and takes 4 different sizes of tape and all casio machines take the same type of tapes so no chance of getting the wrong type of tape it takes a bit of getting used to as it does so many different things

It produces very clear labels of various size text... so far so good. However, when you use the tape cutting blade within the unit, you then have to pull through additional tape otherwise the whole thing jams up.Trick is to produce a long line of labels with additional spaces between each block of text and then cut each block out with scissors.

This is a very basic Label Printer of which has never worked satisfactorily with the tape always getting chewed up. the manufacturer has not updated the label printer for years so it's best to avoid this brand and go with the brand brother

Very useful, at the right price too

Value for money. Easy to use and very useful for day to day life. I am finding useful at home too. Cartrigea are little bit expensive. Product is great

Nos gustó mucho, muy funcional.

.... läuft....was soll ich über einen labeldrucker schreiben. aaaalsoes ist ein tischgerät. die bedienungsanleitung ist so dick wie ein buch, ich bin 50 und brauche eine lesebrille. für diese bedienungsanleitung benötige ich zum lesen eine lupe,-das vorweg.ich habe das gefühl, ausser kaffee kochen, kann der casio alles. 24 schriftgrössen, verschiedene schreibstile, mit rand, mit strich unten/oben, schattiert, kursiev, fett, schmal, einfach alles. mit geliefert wird 1 weisses band mit schwarz druck. es gibt keine batterien dabei ( 6 x AA ) und auch das stromanschlusskabel muss man zusätzlich erwerben. ansonsten macht es das was es soll. es rettet uns vor unserem garstigen postboten, der kein verständnis dafür hat, dass der kleine nachbarsjunge einen heidenspass daran hat, die namensschilder abzu piddeln🙈

Bueno, he de decir que este aparato no está mal para lo que vale.Primero, en mi trabajo usamos el DYMO (Otra etiquetadora) que vale casi el doble, el precio de las cintas es similiar, salvo que en éste caso vale la mitad. Y viene con una cinta incluida.¿Funcionamiento? Antes de poner en marcha el aparato (No incluye pilas, van aparte) hay que leer el manual. Sólo encenderlo, en la pantalla ponía error, y no me dejaba imprimir. Tras revisar en varias ocasiones que la cinta estaba bien puesta y todo bien (A diferencia del dymo, en éste hay que mover un pequeño interruptor para sacar y poner la cinta, pero no es mayor problema, se ve enseguida) he leído en el manual (antes de pensar que estaba algo defectuoso) y tras una combinación de botones, se ha reseteado y puesto de 0 y funcionando perfecta.He echo varias pruebas de tamaño y todo... realmente lo he comprado ya que voy a revibir una vitrina para poner mis motos de colección, y como no caben con la peana, hay que quitarla y poner la descripción aparte... con este aparato se cumple perfectamente esta función.No se ha enganchado en ninguna ocasión, y las cintas se han imprimido bien, y rápido. Hay varios tamaños, y efectos. También hay cintas de varios colores, la que viene incluida (Pensaba que no venía ninguna, y ya he comprado dos aparte antes) es la de letras negras con fondo transparente, justo la que necesitaba.Comparado con el Dymo, los botones son diferentes pero sólo es acostumbrarse... sólo veo dos cosas que sí tiene el Dymo, y éste no: el Dymo dispone de varios efectos más y dibujitos, así como poner las letras en vertical y horizontal y no sólo de una posición, también se pueden poner en negrita, cursiva, y algunas cosas más... en este no lo he visto. También tiene mas espacios de almacenamiento (Éste sólo uno para guardar frases predefinidas, y a diferencia del Dymo, cuando se apaga no se queda la última frase escrita en la pantalla... se bora todo). El Dymo también dispone de "efectos y dibujitos" y más cosas.Para un uso básico, tiene letras y símbolos de todo tipo, los más usados... para un uso normal de etiquetado es un aparato que funciona perfectamente. Y más teniendo en cuenta que vale la mitad que el Dymo y similiares. Además, viene con cinta.En tema funcionalidad, los botones son cómodos, y en 2 minutos, sin apenas saber como funciona el aparato, es fácil saber donde encontrar cada cosa, está bien indicado. Si hay que ponerle pegas (Teniendo en cuenta el precio tan bueno) sería que la cinta no se aprovecha del todo bien, es decir, deja demasiado margen en los laterales al imprimir y eso es un gasto de cinta innecesario, pero eso también ocurre en el Dymo, así que es posible que sea algo general en todos los aparatos de este tipo. Es pesado una vez le has puesto las baterías, y es grande, pero funciona muy bien.Por mi parte, lo recomiendo, he echo bastantes pruebas, y tengo la experiencia de usar otros aparatos similiares... está muy bien para la gran mayoría de usos, salvo que quieras uno que tenga muchas mas cosas y sea mas personalizable en la orientación de las letras, más símbolos, dibujos... etc para cosas especiales. Para etiquetar cosas de manera normal buscando simplemente letras fáciles de ver y de distintos tamaños, es perfecto, no es necesario ir a por los de gama más alta.
