Excellent A5 sketch books for illustration students
Having also ordered the A3 version, there were also required sketch books for our daughters University degree course in illustration. We ordered 2 as the price on Amazon was excellent compared to the high street. The quality, as expected from this manufacturer, is excellent. The hard back cover is very protective and the paper is superior quality for producing the best illustration work.I'll definitely be ordering more in the future.Without a doubt, these are highly recommended.

All mediums
I've used pencils, watercolour, acrylic paint and oil pastels and all of them work well on this paper. It's a good student grade book and a really nice size. I struggle to work on bigger pages this is perfect.

Sturdy good sized sketchbook
I've tried a bunch of different sketchbooks and this type is high on my preferred list. The spiral binding means it's easy to draw on any side of any page without having to hold things awkwardly open, and it's so much easier to take pictures of your work to post on whatever site. Hardback means you can draw anywhere too, without needing a table or something hard to prop it on.The paper is pretty sturdy too, 160gsm is pretty thick. I didn't like the texture with pencils at all, but I use quite soft ones so it wore them down pretty fast. I mainly used this sketchbook during Inktober though, and for that it was perfect. The paper is thick enough to take the inks without bleeding or feathering, and like I said before, it was convenient to use wherever I wanted and easy to take photos to post. The amount of pages and size are a good ratio too, I don't want a massive doorstop to carry around but also not something that's too small or finished too quickly.Overall 4 stars, just because I didn't like how it felt with pencils and I like switching up my materials constantly as I go through sketchbooks. Makes up for it with how well it deals with ink, markers, etc though.

Great sketchbook for pencil
Robust paper that takes graphite well and copes well with erasers. Large spiral folds completely flat and space to clip a pencil and eraser inside.

Great paper for ink, pencil and light watercolour
Perfect quality albeit a little expensive.
