Cheap and effective. The last style callus remover you
This callus trimmer is fantastic! It puts my old cheese grater device to shame! If anyone that reads this is having difficulty making a decision to buy it, DONT. Buy one immediately and watch your calluses disappear in in a fine cloud of callus dust. It leaves the underlying and surrounding skin alone and unharmed but attacks the callus with a vengeance. If I had known this device was available and how well it works, I would have bought one years ago. I'm 73 and have physical trouble reaching those spots on my feet with other products but with this electric roller style it's just like shaving your chin with an electric razor. You don't actually have to see the callus to grind it down. You can do it all by feel. It gives you feedback when your in the right spot and when your not and it does not cause any discomfort on the non callus skin. It seems sturdy and well made and I hope it lasts a long time but even if it doesn't I'm buying a replacement right away. No more expensive pedicures with the wife and the technician jokingly asking me any more what color to paint my toenails when the trimming is done! Thank you Amazon for making it so easy to buy this product. Sincerely, Nancy's husband Doug in Punta Gorda, Florida

It’s amazing how much callus was removed and made a significant difference
I had years and years of callus (and cracks) on both heels and it was getting hard, thick and unsightly.I’ve googled to see if there’s anything (i.e. cream etc.) and found buyersguide.org had voted Own Harmony Premium Electric Callus Shaver CR900 Series as the best unit.It was available from Amazon for less than $30 and I decided to give a try. After initial charge for 2 hours the unit was ready for use.The unit is has natural to hold shape and easy to glide the roller along the heel. The roller is made of abrasive material and spins at fast speed. No need to apply an excess pressure but just let it glide along and and the callus will be removed away as massive fine powder.I’ve used the unit for about 15 minutes on each heel (and applied light film of vaseline to keep the heels moist). It’s amazing how much callus was removed and made a significant difference.I’m planning to use it again just as soon as necessary, but both heels are still smooth after 5 days of initial application.

Smoother Heels
It works! I was wanting an at home solution to salon pedicures and this does the trick. Granted, it's not as fast as the salon, but then again, you're not using any chemicals on your feet. It works best after you've showered and your heels are softer.

Game-Changer for Smooth Feet!
I was honestly blown away by how powerful and effective this callus remover is. Right out of the box, it felt like a premium tool — solid build, ergonomic grip, and super easy to use. I’ve tried other foot shavers before, but this one outperforms them all. It tackled rough spots and thick calluses effortlessly, and my feet have never felt smoother. The rechargeable battery lasts a long time on a single charge, and it’s surprisingly quiet while running. Cleaning it afterward is simple too — just rinse the head under water and it’s good to go. I also love that it comes with extra rollers. If you want salon-quality results at home, this is the one to get. My feet feel amazing, and I’m actually excited to use it again. Highly recommend!

The best callus remover (and unofficially a great dog toenail trimmer).
This is my second one. I bought the first one over 2 years ago, and we use it all the time (I even use it on my docs toenails). I thought the old one had broken - bur it was actually the charger I was using from my shaver - which is even older. That's okay - now we'll leave one with the coarse wheel, and the other with the fine. I'm an avid kayaked, and spend most of my time barefoot or in sandals - so calluses and callus removers are something I've had for decades. This is by far the best.

Could be great, but isn't
Summary: Such promise, but huge disappointmentPros: Higher RPM roller than competitors, better battery than previous versionNeutral: Duration of use on full battery charge, overall lookNegative: Terrible durability, no USB-C charging, battery could still be betterDetail: I've purchased several of these units in the past 5 years. Note that Own Harmony isn't the exclusive reseller of these custom branded product. You can find it branded differently with other vendors; it looks essentially the same. The bad news is that product has two serious design issues that shorten its lifespan dramatically. The first is the battery. While improved, it is still a low quality, cheap, and the size of a single AA. They could have spent an extra $1 for better battery, but chose the cheap route, even with the improved battery. I'd say it adds about 30% more run-time than ones from years back. You'll get about 30 to 45 minutes per charge initially. I found that this number varies dramatically unit to unit that I've purchased. Sounds great or okay right? Well, the problem is that that number drops by 30 to 45 seconds for each use/charge. After about 10 uses/charges the unit stops spinning as fast and is easier to stall. After about 20 uses/charges it will be obvious. Easy fix that the manufacturer won't fix. The second issue is the design of the internal assembly which the roller is attached. It's a tiny plastic shaft. The gears section also gets very hot when running past 15 minutes. The heat and/or even light pressure you apply to use it the will cause it to eventually break. See picture. Again, the manufacturer could have spent a couple hundred dollars for a better design and probably $.50 for more durable part assembly. Interestingly, the original/older model didn't have this problem in my experience. It will fail for you. The only question is will this part or the battery go first.Support: I contacted support on the failure. While they were quick to respond, < 24 hours, dealing with them was a pain. They chose not to listen to me and instead went through a checklist. The process is drawn out and will take at least 5-6 back and forths before they will reluctantly send you a replacement. They obviously know the design is poor as their last email stated that they would send me a replacement unit 'this time' and that I should 'be careful applying pressure' and that the unit will function best with only 'gentle' pressure. Seriously? If the battery held up better and it had a better design, I wouldn't have to spend 30+ minutes to do both feet...Recommendation: If you don't mind dealing with support for your one free replacement and repurchasing every 6 months or so, it's okay. The Amope is more expensive but will last you way longer. The only issue with Amope is that the roller spins much slower. I will re-purchase an Amope once all the Own Harmony units I presently have die. I have more important things to do then deal with support and ultimately spending more. I only wish Amope spun faster...
