This is really a beautiful littler box mat, just wish it came in a much larger size. Even so it is great as it captures kicked or spilled litter and the smooth surface makes it easy to clear off back in to the box or garbage can. It has some waterproof capabilities, and liquid does bead up for quite some time allowing you to use tissues as needed. I love it is so thin so occasionally after it’s been washed I will use it as a door mat or rug. My external doors are ridiculously close to the inside floor height making any rug that is thicker unusable. So yes to make my world of litter boxe use and door mat use I wish this particular pattern came in the largest size. It’s a great value, and is durable and the only litter mat I buy. It washes beautifully and has many uses, but if you choose to use it strictly as a litter mat, your cats will love being so stylish!

We have 3 cats and 3 litter boxes, and we use a sand-like litter that tracks everywhere. The area around our litter boxes was always a mess. I’ve tried different mats—the honeycomb ones with a deposit, plastic grated mats, and now this one. I’ve found that this mat works the best by far. You can cut it to fit your space, it’s easy to vacuum over, and the backing grips the floor nicely.The only downside is that you can see the litter on the mat, but at least it stays on the mat and doesn’t spread around as much. I feel like this mat does a better job of trapping litter off my cats’ paws than the others I’ve tried.

This mat is great. We have an older cat that struggles getting out of the cat box at times. She takes a lot of litter w her. This mat has slowed the spread of litter and caught misses. It's easy to clean and vacuum. It prevents the cat box from sliding around during travel.

This mat is very cute and soft. It does reduce litter spreading but not quite as much as I’d hoped. I loved the size of the mat, and that it stayed put with the rubber backing. Also that I can throw it in the washer. However, I am ordering something else to try to help with my messy kitties.

I waited to review this after putting it through the ultimate test. My cats destroyed the foam mat we had before, so I got this one.tl;dr--really works, very affordable, durable, and clean looking. highly recommend.- They attempted to shred it tooth and claw but failed, so big win!- I transported it with me while travelling with my boys, and I was able to comfortably do so and dust off the excess litter before packing it up.- I vacuumed it multiple times, and it withstood not only the vacuum, but also the washer and dryer.- Finally, it is really soft, looks aesthetically pleasing, and I do feel like it catches the litter from their little paws really well because of the felt-like material, reducing tracking around the house!

This kitty pad is perfect collects all the loose kitty litter and if the cat accidentally urinates outside the kitty box (common with older cats) it never touches the floor and it’s washable. Excellent product.

For a number of years, I've been using 2 of the double layered mats with the holes, designed to catch loose litter in the holes & then pour it back into the litter box. So my review is based on comparing this new mat to those older mats I bought awhile ago. I've had this new mat for about a month.First, the double layer mats with holes are made of a layer of silicone which seems to absorb odors. Also, every time I have attempted to pour the litter back into the boxes, litter goes flying out of the holes on to the floor as I try to get ahold of it properly. Sadly, this is the main reason why I bought that type of mat, and it doesn't work for that at all.This mat is soft and pliable enough to roll it, so you can pour the litter back into the litter box. In fact, it's so easy to do, I'm able to stay seated in front of the boxes after scooping & roll up and dump while still being seated in front of the boxes. I can't speak to the odor aspect yet. I have found that ALL of the litter won't sprinkle back in & some will stick to the mat a bit. So it's not perfectly clean after dumping, but it's good enough and it's so easy, I now do it every time I scoop the box as I won't make a mess when I do it. I assume this is by design as the mat is supposed to help prevent your cat from tracking litter onto the regular floor. So some probably should stick to the mat for it to do it's job of keeping litter off your floor.Second, my cats seem to want to make a run for the mats so they can puke on them. Because of the hole'd design in my old mats, the only way to clean the mats properly is to hose them off in the backyard, and they have to be carried carefully down the stairs as all the litter doesn't quite dump out, and they're too thick to roll. EVERY SINGLE TIME I have taken the time and energy (in 100 degree heat) to hose off the mats, within a couple of days, a cat has puked on the mat again. My elderly cat, who passed away right before I bought these new mats, was poo'ing with his rear end sticking out of the litter box, which was also dirty'ing my old silicone mats and some was going through the holes causing them to be dirty regularly. Ick.Due to the stiff fabric layer of this new mat, if my cats decide to puke on it, I can use some spray cleaner and a paper towel to clean the area without having to wash the entire mat. Per the manufacturer's description, and the reviews, I can put this mat in the washer for a more thorough cleaning. I haven't tried it yet, but that was a HUGE selling point. In fact, I purchased 2 mats so I can cut down on the frequency of putting it in the washing machine. I keep one clean mat aside. Although my senior cat has since passed away, if urine or feces were to get on the mat, I could easily throw it in the washer. This dirtying was happening regularly with my old mats and it was disgusting.I did take away 1 star for the $20 pricing. For what the mat is, it seems like $20 is a bit steep. I was able to get both of my mats for $15 each, but that was a short term sale price.

Nice and different to standard grey mats. Adds a pop of colour. Hasn't stopped litter being tracked but other than that happy with purchase

I have 2 cats who don’t bother to use the in and out on their tray they jump out anywhere. This mat is of a strange but good material, it does catch most of the litter left in their feet, much better than the honeycomb type mats and it vacuums up easily.
