How do I choose the right cast net size, weight, and mesh?

Use 3–6ft nets for beginners, 8–12ft for pros. 1/4” mesh targets small bait; 3/8” works for most. Heavier weights (1.0+ lb/ft) sink faster, but even our 0.75lb/ft sink faster than competitors with our custom monofilament line.

Are these cast nets for saltwater or freshwater?

All nets work in both, but rinse with clean water after use. Zinc-iron weights are rust-resistant for several months only and better suited for freshwater; lead and PVC protected weights are rustproof and ideal for all environments with proper care.
