Brilliant!
I've lost 2 stone mainly by using the recipes in the book and certainly by sticking to the principles - you can still eat tasty food and enjoy food by making small changes. I'd hit a bit of a plateau so bought the DVD for some inspiration as I had missed it when on TV. I'm so glad I did. They are really entertaining and funny and so inspirational. It has made me excited by the recipes all over again.I really really recommend the book and DVD set if you want to lose weight without denying yourself. The recipes are absolutely delicious and this way of eating definitely works. Also the DVD talks a lot about how they exercised too and why that should be done by an activity that you find enjoyable.This is the eating plan for foodies and one I intend to follow forever; I just wish they would bring out a follow up,.

This really is a great book for anyone who is trying to lose weight ...
This really is a great book for anyone who is trying to lose weight but who enjoys their food.It came about at the same time as their TV series of the same name and it's worth while getting hold of the series DVD as well as it's great entertainment too.I have attempted a few of the recipes and so far there's not been a single failure. My personal favourite is the lasagne that doesn't use pasta but uses sheets of blanched leek instead. It may sound weird but believe me it's fabulous.As a person who has had to change their diet for medical reasons and has so far lost well over 2 stone in under 3 moths I found this book (and the DVD) are a great help.Brilliant stuff

Absolutely fantastic books
This dvd and books are as good as the other 5 hairy biker diet books I have. The recipes are brilliant and have been adapted for healthy eating and to help you lose weight. I have lost nearly 1 stone since using these recipes (in around 1 1/2 months) I love the new way of cooking (from scratch, nothing out of a jar for us any more and iv so much more energy. Thanks Hairy Bikers!

Easy to follow
I bought the dvd and the kindle edition of the book. Really enjoyed both. The recipes and easy and concise to follow and delicious. I have so far made the skinny lasagne, sweet and sour chicken tastes exactly like a very good quality one from a take-away or restaurant, spicy pork and rice. The meal planners are helpful to get you started. So far I have lost 1/2 stone but because the recipes are tasty you don't feel that you are on a diet. I would like to see a follow up to the Hairy Dieters. Thoroughly recommend it.

This was a very good way of showing how diet and exercise works together as well as being very entertaining.

Encouraging
Si & Dave have always been entertainers & genuine food lovers suffering the never ending expanding waistline like the rest of us food lovers. So it was great that they suddenly realized they had joined the obese!! Deciding to help themselves by adapting delicious meals, bringing enjoyment and relief for us foodies. Recipe books are great but listening and watching encouraging ways with Si & Dave I find refreshing ....

Not looked at DVD yet, expected a book, but when I do I'm sure it will be very good if its anything like their books. Great follower of them.

Does what it says on the cover. (If you stick to it !)
Bought the book in January and used the recipes and `ethos` to go from 16 stone 3 lbs to 13 stone 9 lbs by mid June, all without feeling to "diet" extremely. Really enjoyed some of the dishes although the cook (who also lost 2 stone but as a lady keeps the start / finish weight to herself !) did have to extend the range of items in her `store cupboard`. Now to keep up the good work.
