Tools used in real life don't always live up to their reviews, but there are exceptions. When I unpackaged the Vampliers, they seemed strong and sturdy. The real test came when I tried to remove a rusted and immovable outlet screw from an outdoor box. I tested the screw before using the pliers, and it wouldn't budge. But when I used the pliers, I was able to easily turn the screw and remove it. Highly recommend Vampliers!

The sharpness of the blade. You have to take your time stripping or you will knick or cut the wire. I love it. The crimper is a great part to have with this. The size and ease of use. This has it all. I can't believe I waited so long to get one. It actually helped eto remove the screws as advertised. When I'm slicing wires I have to remember to avoid the trench. Although it does shape the splice well. Durable and works like a dream

The pliers are solid — finely finished and precisely machined. The jaws mesh flawlessly. The handle grips have a slight softness and slip resistant shape. Perhaps the best made hand tool I own.

I often have screws that are stripped out and hard to remove. These won't grab onto screws that are flush to the surface but come in handy if you can't get a vice-grip plier onto the screw. They also work better than most easy-outs I have in the shop. Just one more tool to get me out of a tough spot. I used them to twist wires together when using wire connectors and worked well. Very handy.

These are amazing pliers. They work great to remove fasteners with stripped heads, and are an excellent all around plier, my favorite. They are one of three tools I grab for almost any project. I've built over two miles of net wire fence using these. They are great for grabbing wire or fasteners from any position or orientation. When new, they glide open and closed and are a joy to use. BUT when exposed to even a minimal damp environment for any length of time they rust and seize, making them unusable. The rust is too severe for simple lubrication (e.g., machine oil, WD-40, penetrating oil, etc). The only thing I've found that restores them to near new function is a half hour with valve grinding compound. These would be perfect if the metal were more like whatever Knipex uses in their amazing compound cutters. I've had the Knipex cutters alongside the Vampliers building fence and doing assorted other projects for over a year. The Knipex cutters are near perfect, no rust after a year's use while the Vampliers have had to be compounded twice. If these weren't so good otherwise they wouldn't be worth the trouble of keeping them rust free or getting them working again after being in a damp environment. Overall, even with the one drawback, I highly recommend these.

Awesome! I’ve struggled for years to get stripped bolts out of metal, wood etc. I have had these for years and just bought a second pair for my lake house. They work! Hands down worth the money! So easy to remove

The Vampliers are a game-changer for anyone dealing with stubborn, stripped screws. After a frustrating attempt with a screw extractor that proved utterly useless, the Vampliers made quick work of the problem. Their precision and grip are impressive, making what seemed like an impossible task of removing a stripped screw in a tight space incredibly easy. Highly recommended for any toolbox!
