They can be used if they will fit the shaft on your stove. You have to look at the shape and dimensions of the included adapters as well as the knob itself to determine if they will work for you. It was a crap shoot for me, but I was lucky and the knobs worked well for me.

They are metric sizes. I got them to replace 1/4 inch D shaft knobs, but they did not work. I don't know what they will fit. Nothing in my life.
