Q: Can this be used with any shallow storage container, or does it have to be the sta-wet palette?

It’s basically just a thin sponge lining designed to place under your paint pallet paper, in order to keep it moist and prevent the paint from drying when being stored. It fits their trays perfectly, but I suppose you could use them in any tray or container that seals for storage. I’ve only always used them as replacements for their specific tray.

Q: where is the sponge made? is it safe for children?

Made in the USA. Do not know about safety concerns

Not Cheap but very Good

These are the least expensive option when buying Masterson sponges which are generally unjustifiably expensiveHaving said that I haven't found a better functioning alternative so its really pay up and shut up till I do

Good value sponges

I am very pleased with my Masterson Sta-wet palette sponges. You get 3 sponges in the pack so very good value. Works out at £9 each which is an excellent price.
