Easy to install

I am very impressed with this fuel pump. I put this pump in a recently cleaned metal gas tank. The gas tank was not sealed and began to oxidize. When I started having injector related misfires I found a rusty gas tank. For months the fuel pump had no problems supplying adequate pressure and volume. I am getting another one of these because I know they can handle a lot of dirty fuel and keep on pumping!

When attempting to install, had difficulty putting the sock filter on the inlet port and in fact broke it. I tried to reuse the original and it would not go on either. Problem is the inlet port measures appx 12mm od, and the iD of both original and new sock filter is appx. 11mm. Measured the OD of the original inlet port and it is about 11mm. You cant put a 12mm peg into a 11mm hole. the tolerances are bad on the bottom casting of the pump. I thought it just the "as cast" finish and tried to sand it smoother but no luck. Hoping for a refund and I'll buy a name brand pump and start over, a week lost.

We ordered this part for a 1989 toyota pickup... The fuel pump works good! The sock is good quality but wouldn't work, we used the old one. Spoke to the CS of the supplier & they was very nice & understanding. Although the sock didn't work, the fuel pump did & the customer service was amazing. I would recommend this company..

This pump fit perfectly in my 85 Toyota PU EFI. The kit is also a perfect fit. You have to use the old screen. Great value and running fine. It was easier for me to unbolt the bed and slide it over than dropping the tank. (8 bolts easy to get to). Air tools and 1hr did the job right on the ground.

I bought this for a 86 4Runner. Very easy to install. Seems to be work great.
