Comfortable and durable so far
I frequently bike ride 10 miles to the local beach. For years I’ve strapped an older style low profile bag (beach) chair to the rear rack. These older style bag chairs are still pretty heavy and extended out maybe 10 inches beyond the rack making them a little clumsy.I tried replacing that chair with an ultralight backpack chair but they were to flimsy to be comfortable sitting in on the beach for hours at a time. While looking for other options I came across the high back “ultra light” chairs. I read A LOT of reviews before deciding on the Hit or Hike.So far, I’ve used it about 15 times to go to the beach. Unlike a lot of the less expensive chairs, it seems very well made. It’s more of a woven vinyl, than a canvas material so it seems very durable. I’m not seeing the seam separations that seems to happen in the “popular priced” chairs. Also, this material seems to dry much more quickly than canvas. The leg supports on this chair are larger and apparently heavier than my other ultra-lights. The chair is very stable when sitting in it. There is a little springiness, so it feels a bit like a rocker, but I wouldn’t get too carried away rocking in it. That probably wouldn’t be too good for the plastic joints. But it’s just enough to relax.I’m 6’ 185 lbs and I find the chair to be very comfortable. I can easily sit in it for 3-4 hours at the beach. It is very easy to assemble. The frame practically puts itself together. Yes, the cover is a little tight the first time you put it together, but after a few uses it’s easy. When you first get the chair, take note of how it’s packed in the bag BEFORE you completely unpack it. In general, these types of chairs can be a pain to get back into the bag. But if you pack it the way the manufacturer packed it you will have no problem.About the only minor drawback to this chair is that it is slightly heavier than some of the competition. I mark this up to the heavier material used in the cover and the heavier frame. For my use, this is no issue, I’m not looking for the lightest chair I need something durable and comfortable, as this is not a once-in-a-while camping/backpack chair, this is a chair that will get used 2-3 time a week for nice months out of the year.In summary –Pros - Comfortable, stable, apparently durable, quick drying, easy to assemble, relatively easy to pack up, 2 convenient side pockets for phone keys drink, etc.Cons – slightly heavier than some others.

Efficient, very portable, almost assembles itself, comfortable
Coming out of its' Velcro restraint, it seems like multi string puppet or strange arachnoid. Oh my gosh. But then something amazing happens. Stretch each joint, and the sturdy elastic cords pull the joints into secure positing and the chair frame takes its shape. I felt like it put itself together. Kind of funny . Like a foldable cane if you have ever had one of those. Then place the chair sling seat, headrest first with pockets on the outside. the lower sling placement is tight fitting but don't give up, I have done it twice now and like that it is snug and secure. Comfort wise, it is like a sling, with good head rest support. It is a great totable event chair. The only negative would be no arm rest. On the 4th of July, my friends tried it out and are now ordering theirs. Small enough package to strap to your bike or back pack.

Great light weight, supportive and easy to carry chair
Very good quality light weight chair. I’m around 6’ and 215 pounds and I feel very well supported in this chair. It is just a bit snug for me but the shape makes it quite comfortable nonetheless. It’s easy to set up and break down once you’ve done it a couple of times. We walk over a mile to our local concerts in the park at least once a week and these are a breeze to carry with us. Highly recommend.

Really comfy and portable
Part of my gear for dual sport motorcycle camping. Super compact and very durable. Is the best I could find for the price on a deep dive into looking. This is after a full season of use FYI

Stable chair that's fast to assemble and portable to carry.
The chair meets all its expectations. I was not sure about getting up from the chair but it is high enough that I did not have to struggle and had good balance. Very quick to assemble. Being a brand new chair for me the last pocket to slip on the bar for the bottom seat was a little tight or tough for me but I have bad wrists. Note, I did not get a chance to try it on sand yet. But is is comfortable and easy to sit and get up in! A great light weight/portable chair that took no room in the trunk.

Love HITORHIKE products!
LOVING THIS GEAR! Not Bragging just Shouting out!I am a 27yr Seasoned vet with the US FOREST SERVICE. Spent all my carrier as a wildfire fireman. The youth of my carrier as a Hotshot. Now that I am a bit aged; yet still working on a Wildland Fire engine. My point! All the years of sleeping on the ground was just to rough on the body!I read some intense reviews about companies and there products. In time I bought the HITORHIKE cot just maybe 2 years ago. I am soooo happy with the beating, destruction and durability I have put on my cot. Basically between home, family and kid usage not to forget that my line of work is not the most conducive to solid level ground, temperature, Mother Nature and so much negative conditions and environmental abuses and all i can say is WOW! My goal is to get more cots for camping with my family because I am pleased With this product and well mine smells like a Forest Fire now. Im happy to say I am Very pleased! So this review is about that i just bought my second product the camp chair with the high riser head rest (not sure the exact name) did a test run and its nice. I don't know this company at all but for my first ever personally purchased / owned cot and now camp chair HITORHIKE earned my business.O! 2 more thing: setting up and breaking down takes a Montana Minute but now that I have the hang of the cot set up i can set / pitch it / break down and roll up in a New York Minute.Second works awesome with a therma-rest. If your taller than 5’9” i don't have an answer for ya sorry. Seems like 6’ may be just right there. But if your asleep and it’s comfortable. Who cares right. Have a great day~Mj~

Easy to assemble and disassemble. Sturdy and comfortable for the weight
I carry it on my bike when I go to the water, camping or to an event. High quality aluminum frame sturdier then it looks. I'm 6'1" and 240lbs. The only con is the headrest isn't really thick enough to actually provide any support.
