Good replacement part.
Good original quality, simple to replace (don't forget to isolate the boiler first though), and solved the heating coming on with the hot water. This same part was double the price from all my local wholesalers, and some of them had it on back order.

Direct replacement.
A direct replacement, it allowed me to repair my 3-way valve without disturbing the plumbing. A straightforward d-I-y job that avoided costly plumbers!Despite being a little battered during delivery, this actuator has worked faultlessly.

Don't forget to return the lever to auto after fitting.
Easy to fit and wire up. Don't forget to return the lever to it's auto position if you have been using it to give heat and hot water until fitting a new motorised valve.

HSA3 3 port valve atuator -- lifespan
I have had 3 of these actuators over 18 years. An average of 6 years each. Unfortunately the last one failed to work properly after 2 years; a month after the guarantee ended!I have dis-assembled an earlier one and can see no obvious wear in it. The motor still goes, the gear wheel and cam ring show no sign of wear and the micro switches appear to function as they should. So I am curious about what is bringing my actuators to an early demise?
