MikasaMarion Chip Resistant 12 Piece Dinnerware Set, Service for 4

These dishes are gorgeous. They are lighter in weight than my old hand-thrown ones but still have enough of a lip that they keep food from spilling over the side. The edges make the dishes look thicker than they are but they are definitely lighter in weight and still solid and well made. No flaws. I bought 2 sets and love them. The bowls are perfect size for cereal.

These (Colter) are the best dishes I've ever owned. I LOVE them. They are a true white, not that weird white-gray color that most porcelain and even bone china is. They are bright, simple, and perfect for plating dishes. They are great in the dishwasher, haven't gotten scratched after months of use, and haven't chipped or broken at all. My only disappointment is that the company doesn't make matching pasta bowls or serve ware. I even reached out to them about this and they seemed disinterested in the feedback. Still hoping this changes, as this is the perfect, minimalist set for me. I will supplement with more colorful serve ware for now.

I am giving this item 4 stars based on the inaccurate description and images of the Marion style set. The box is labelled "Embossed Marion," and as the box described, they are indeed embossed. The plates are not flat as depicted in the images. However, I loved that they are relatively light weight and that they are a "warm" white. They are not a weird blue -ish color like a lot of porcelain dishes out there.

I love my dishes. Just wish they came with cups/mugs

The dishes are beautiful. They are very thin and light in weight. I’m just sorry that I didn’t realize that they didn’t come with cups and saucers. Now I don’t know how I will find cups and saucers that will go with them.

Ive always had mikasa dinnerware. For this order the packaging was good but the delivery was bad. 2 out of 4 plates were broken. Return/replacement went without any problems. Replacement items arrived the next day. The set was beautiful as expected 💞

These dishes are incredible, with clean lines, and unique in simplicity and design. The white is perfect! A clean bright warm white!!Thank you for your fantastic design!! The weight of these dishes is solid and good!! The Mikasa Colter Bone fits its name! I love these dishes!The packaging was wonderful as well!
