Sharp for a bit.
Maybe scalples are suppose to be single use but these sure are. Very sharp for a few slices. Works well for detail cuts on projects.

Scalpel blades are good, handles ok
Blades are individually wrapped and great. Clean, sharp, sterile. Hanldes are ok, stamped stainless. They do a decent job of holding the blades, but the blades will wiggle a bit. 4 stars, good value for the $.

Perfect for Poultry First Aid Use!
I bought these scalpel blades for my chicken first aid kit, and they’ve been excellent. The blades are sharp, precise, and perfect for delicate tasks. They fit well with the handles I already had as well. I extra appreciate having both #11 and #23 options for different needs.

Good scalpel but blade changes you want to use a hemostat.
This kit is great but I’m giving it 3 stars for blade change issues.First I want to point out that I am using this scalpel for cutting balsa wood for RC airplanes and fragging corals. Which it works great for airplane models /covering and fragging corals.Changing blades I use a needle nose pliers or a hemostat because the blades are brittle if they are flexed. Which is part of the issue. You have to slip the blade over the tool and flex it into position. Having the little edges snap while you’re trying to lock the blade in with a razor sharp edge could give you a pretty serious laceration if your not careful. So I would seriously recommend using a needle nose or a hemostat to change blades. The photo I’m posting shows the blade installed correctly. The old rusty blade is in its flexed position to be removed or installed. When it’s flexed I have had the thin edges of the blade snap. which I’m pointing out in photo 2.I will continue to use this scalpel and blades because they are sharp and accurate but I’d never change a blade without using a pliers or hemostat.

If You Need a Scalpel For Anything Don't Buy This Brand
These blades are extremely dull to the point that they're junk. I bought these hoping they'd be a better tool for cutting off plantar warts than a razor blade / utility blade like I have been using after watching videos of podiatrists using scalpels to great effect. However, these scalpel blades are far more dull than a generic utility blade. They're unable to shave down a wart at all (or a callus) when a utility blade can easily do so. You'd be hard pressed to even cut your skin with this at all even on purpose. So basically these blades are worthless. I don't know what you'd even use these these for since you'd struggle to cut anything. If you need a scalpel for anything don't buy this brand.
