I'll start with the positives, they are well made, light, great battery life and cut very well. The blades are very sharp and having a battery life display is very handy. The packaging is great and they feel like a very expensive piece of kit. Now the not so great. The twist blade cut length for minor adjustments is just too hard to see, the numbers from 0.8 to 2mm could have been in white. Also the power button is right where your thumb naturally sits so I'm turning them off a lot during cutting. I feel the price and quality outnumbers the cons so they are a great buy.

Nice bit of kit. Fantastic price, holds charge nicely. Loads of accessories. Comfortably fits in your hand and easy to use. Cleaning quick and easy.

The fact it is cordless is very handy. The only thing I don't like is I can't turn it round and trim the edges.Good quality cut.

It arrived this morning. I was a bit nervous because of the relatively low price but opening the box I was greeted with instructions that were clear and concise, all the accessories as stated that felt well made and sturdy and of course the clipper unit itself which looked great. Taking it out I could feel the wight in it, a seriously solid feel to it yet ergonomic. It felt like quality. I pressed the start button and the display blinked into life showing 88% charge so I thought I'd give it a go.I was more than pleasantly surprised at how well it worked and how little vibration & noise there was in the unit. It really does 'do what it says on the tin' which is something else these days and especially for something so relatively inexpensive.In using it the charge went down to 83% but I did seriously need a cut so there was a lot to do. I put it on charge and it wasn't long before I'd got to 98%. I stopped it there because with Li-ion and Lipo batteries; which most rechargeable electrical items use, it's best not to charge right up to full - little and often seems to extend their life considerably.I'm impressed and will be looking at their other products as the foot file has caught my eye.

I bought this when my old clippers gave up the ghost and overall I haven’t been disappointed at all.It works and using it several times a week I haven’t had to charge it once yet!One minor complaint would be that part of the razor feels too sharp when using it for beard / stubble trimming, it can be a bit uncomfortable when doing that.Using it for hair clipping is excellent though and allows me to keep my hair shaved according to what I’m needing.Definitely recommended and the colour coded attachments make it easy to fine the one you need.

Very impressive piece of kit, and fantastic value. I did have an issue with one of the combs, but the customer service to get me a replacement was excellent. Only disappointing thing is that I didn't buy this years ago!

Bought this to replace an ageing Philips shaver/hair trimmer I've used and trusted for a few years but which was finally failing to do the job properly due to wear and tear. So, a lot to live up to for the next one to take over.Not heard of BarberBoss before, but having read the reviews I decided to give this one a go. And I have to say, I'm impressed so far with this bit of kit. It comes well-packaged in its own box (see photos), lots of accessories (the cape an added bonus), everything presented with care.As with most modern beard and hair trimmers, unlike my cordless Philips which required mains to charge, this unit is charged via USB (cable included). I simply plugged it into my laptop port which worked a treat. (I tried initially using my mobile phone's DART charger but the trimmer didn't seem happy with that). Apologies, but I didn't take note of the exact time it took for a full charge.On a side note, unlike some reviews I read I'm actually used to the type of plastic guide combs supplied (in fact the current ones I use would, I assume, be considered by some reviewers as being even flimsier, yet as I've mentioned have lasted me years) so I'm pretty confident these BarberBoss ones will do the work for a long time to come.PROS:* Easy to handle slim design; not too heavy* Wide range of cutting lengths (guide combs clearly marked for appropriate trim length)* Seems to hold its battery life quite well, but only time will tell after several uses* LED battery life display* Dual speed* Nice priceCONS:* Not the most informative / descriptive of instructions booklet, yet adequate* Takes a couple of practices to dismantle and reinstall the blade* You need space to store all the individual accessories etc. - even if using the box it all came in you'll need somewhere to put itAll in all, I'm confident with what I'm now using - well worth the money.
