This thing is just a steamer, and not even a particularly good one. It's made of cheap bendable plastic that you assemble yourself, that doesn't even seal properly. It should have been made of hard plastic that fits snugly together. The little plastic pieces fall off easily, and one broke as I was taking it out of the package. You may as well just buy a cheap humidifier for what this is worth.

This sanitizer works well, but I’m not sure it’s worth bothering with. Most modern dishwashers sanitize dishes, and this DOES NOT clean (some reviews have said it does, it DOES NOT, and in fact putting dirty dishes in it will cause grime to get in the heating element and need washing, and it still won’t clean the dishes. I have no idea why some reviews claim this cleaned dishes.). So if you have a modern dishwasher with a sanitize cycle you’re better off sticking with that.I look at this as providing the dishwasher’s sanitize (but NOT CLEANING) cycle for those who don’t have a dishwasher with one or with things that need handwashing. In both cases this can help ensure your dishes (and possibly more, as long as it's waterproof) are sanitized, which is always a good thing. It’s also great for sanitizing sponges, which generally don’t survive many dishwasher cycles. I had two sponges getting musty and with a funky smell, this took care of them. It’s also great for my water bottles, which can’t go in the dishwasher. I still have to wash them, but I can go longer now – I just stick them in this and know any bacteria is killed.As for the product itself. It’s kind of cheap feeling due to being all plastic, it’s also not very appealing. Despite feeling cheap it hasn’t fallen apart on me yet, so hopefully that means it holds out. Still it’s not something you’ll likely want to leave out on your counter so you need storage space. On the flip side it’s not overly large so it’s not super hard to find a spot. It's made to store at half the height, with all the accessories held within, so that helps it fit in most cupboards. I live in a smallish apartment and had no issue finding a place to store this.

This does work well as a sanitizer, so I will absolutely give it credit for that. However, it DOES NOT clean dishes. If your dishwasher is older and doesn't have a sanitizing option or if you want an additional sanitizing option for health reasons (baby, sickly household member, etc), then this might be a great little gadget for you.The instructions are very easy to follow and loading up the bay is an absolute breeze, which make sanitizing whatever you stick in it super easy and practically effortless. However, it does not clean any of the items inside and simply kills any germs or otherwise. So please do not expect any dirty dishes to magically get clean from sticking them inside of this device.The device itself isn't very large and is made of a relatively durable-feeling plastic. It's easy to clean and store, and doesn't take up much counter space.Overall, it's not a bad product by any means, but it has a specific purpose. If you don't need it, don't invest in it.

This device is okay. The middle section doesn’t fit securely so when steaming, the steam comes out of the middle section.

I absolutely love this steam sanitizer! I use it primarily for my son’s bottles, pacifiers, bottle brushes and anything else that needs to be sanitized.The product itself is very light and easy to setup if you follow the instructions. You have the option of a single tier for shorter and smaller things to be sanitized and if you need more room you can add a second tier which is great for your brushes with long handles. It is primarily made of plastic but it feels like it’s a durable plastic that won’t crack or break easily.Operation couldn’t be more simple. There is one button. Once you fill it with water, you press the button and you’re done. It even comes with a cup with two measurements which allow for a shorter and longer cycle based on the amount of water.It starts working quickly and it definitely produces hot steam which fills the entire chamber.I would highly recommend this product for all your sterilizing needs! Being able to sanitize with only water and no harsh chemicals is fantastic! It makes me feel at ease knowing that when it comes to things my son puts in his mouth.
