Excellent Product
This machine worked like a dream. It requires minimal assembly. That being said, the only drawback was there are no assembly instructions in the short manual provided for the one primary piece needing attachment. However, once I pulled the cable out a few inches, I was able to deduce how to attach the cable feeding device onto the front. As a woman, I am pretty handy with a variety of tools; I remodeled a portion of our current home myself. However, being a novice at using an electric snake auger, I watched a couple instructional videos. Within 30 minutes I had my bathroom drain cleared.Since purchasing our current home 2 years ago, we have called a plumber at least 5 times to periodically snake this one drain and spent well over $800. The house was built in the 70's and has cast iron pipes set in a concrete foundation. Cast iron pipes naturally corrode over time causing spurs to catch flushed materials. This subsequently requires the pipes to be snaked periodically. This heavy machine is easy to move with the wheels provided. My only regret is that I didn't purchase it sooner, which would have saved me several hundred dollars.

Usability
Good value for your money. Easy to use and strong enough to clear a line of tree roots pretty painlessly . The auto feed didn’t add much value to me so I took it back off.

Machine works well.
We seem to get root overgrowth every 8-9 years. The way our house is set up, there is no access to the sewer line at ground level except a 2" access in the garage. So previously the rooter service would have to go up on the roof. However, about 5 years ago, insurance companies stopped covering roof work. The price to install a 4" at ground level was 3500-4500 (!). Meh to that. Was going to do it myself with a rental, but the antiquated machines were 180-200 lbs and impossible to get up on the roof. And no auto-feed. So I shopped a bit and picked up this machine. Is under 100 lbs and I used a big plastic tray (for use under critter cages) as a sled and block/tackled it up the ladder. Used it last weekend to clear the line to the curb - just under 75' - down and out twice. The Auto-feed is convenient although slow (maybe a foot every 30 sec). It saves a lot of push and pull work. Now the drains are running clear and I'm set for the next time. Compared to the price to install a 4: access, this was well worth it.

Poor Product Sewer Cleaner
This is a "SCAM" for what it is said to do. Cutter broke, reverse/forward cable movement issues. It might do OK for TP issue but for roots in sewer line it SUCKS

Tip Broke Off Inside The Pipe
We purchased this over a year ago to have on hand because we live in a 100 year house with old pipes and we have a root issue at least once a year and were tired of renting and hauling a unit. We just recently had to take it out of the box and use it. The unit itself works well and I like that it has a cover for the coil so it doesn't sling gross water all over the place when you're pulling it back out of the pipe. It does the job HOWEVER I had to give it three stars because the first time we used it the tip broke off inside the pipe with no way to retrieve it which is a pretty big flaw. All we pulled out were small roots so there really shouldn't have been an issue. Now we have to cross our fingers and hope that chunk of metal in our pipes doesn't cause a bigger issue.

Outstanding Tool / Investment
EXCELLENT TOOL – East to use. Easy to clean up. Directions are marginal, but once you figure it out the machine is very easy to use. It cleared a very stubborn clog without issue. Great investment!

Powerful but could be better
The machine itself is powerful enough for the job, but the auto-feed feature didn’t add much value for me—I ended up taking it off because it was more hassle than it was worth. There were two bigger issues I ran into: first, the narrow wheelbase makes it a pain to transport. The machine tipped over several times while I was carting it around, which was frustrating. Second, the drain-clearing tools that come with it are poorly made. A couple of them actually broke off inside my sewer line after just a few uses, which created more work than it solved. To make matters worse, while the machine worked fine the first time, the cable snapped with minimal stress on it, which was surprising and disappointing.
