Other features of the B-Wing include a hinged canopy on the cockpit and a missile launcher that shoots two missiles. A docking bay, which doubles as a display stand, holds the missiles and a selection of six tools. The set comes with two B-Wing pilot minifigs (Ten Numb and one unnamed pilot). These minifigs have flesh-toned skin instead of the more collectible yellow skin on the earlier Star Wars figures. Purists may also be disappointed that Lego includes decals to adhere to pieces in this set rather than going to the expense of painting designs directly on the bricks. The B-Wing fighter takes anywhere from two to four hours to build with some help from the illustrated instructions.
