Very high quality!!
Ever since I bought this bed I have never needed to replace it! My dog is near 70 lbs and sheds and has had a couple accidents on the bed and all I had to do was take it outside and wash it with the hose and soap of course. I've let it dry in the sun several times as well and it's basically new still. No tears and doesn't hold on to odor. All other beds I've had only lasted until they needed washing and then they were done. This is the best pet bed and worth the price because this is actual quality and I feel like I may never have to buy another one again for my dog.

Best on Market
This is my 2nd round of puppy pads from K9. (7 years ago) Waterproof/pee proof is really important, quality is top notch, I wash them over & again & has maintained color & shape. I purchased 3 kennel beds so changing out accidents is easy. I highly recommend K9

We purchased this one as a replacement for our initial one which was .... chewed up
We purchased a ballistics dog pad about 13 months ago for our small dog. It works great but he is not a chewer. It is easy to clean.Six months ago, we got a puppy so we put this into his crate. It worked well and we thought we were in the clear ... well that was until he turned six months and started heavily chewing everything. You can imagine our shock when we came down one morning to find that he had broached this pad. It was completely chewed open. I had remembered there was a warranty so I went to their website to see if we were covered. Naturally it was only a one year warranty and we were just outside that time. So we decided to give it another try. So far he has not chewed it at all (we also put bitter yuck on the edges). Hoping that this one can last . But it is definitely NOT indestructible like advertised.Update - we purchased a second one thinking we would give this company another try. Nope. He chewed through it in a single night. Since it was ten months old, we can't use any warranty and they offered 15% off but I'm not spending another dime with this company. I would not recommend these beds for the price. We started putting towels into his cage and those work so much better for much cheaper.

Durability & Quality
We have a total of 6 dogs, 2 cats & an African Grey Parrot .. the quality of this dog bed is extremely nice, the dogs that didn’t get a new one yet are jealous

Almost worked
These are definitely tough pads and chew resistant, but not entirely chew proof. It would be a 5-star product for less aggressive chewers. My 6-month-old Australian Cattle Dog apparently has some pretty strong chewing power and destroyed one of the corners, pulling stuffing out into her crate within a couple of months. That is not to say these are not tough - they are. I tried to machine sew the corner together and it bent the needle on the machine the first time. I did get it back together on try two but one thicker area that wouldn't go under the machine foot had to be hand sewn - unfortunately, even with thick thread, she was able to pull that one area apart again. We are trying the one with the metal around it for the next one.

is still going strong w/ TWO pits!
I first want to say that while reviews on these types of things are helpful, every pet is different and everyone has different needs. It would be hard to predict what would or would not work for each person until they try it. for us, it was worth it so pls read our exact needs....so we have two large pits. they def can chew and we can only buy the very strong KONGs for toys. they eat all the rest w/in minutes. they do NOT chew furniture or anything but the exception is = blankets! not sure if its the soft feeling or what but they both smush up the blanket w/their paws until its sticking up and then chew. almost suck on it and grind. eventually there is a whole in the blanket and that piece of material they have EATEN! While i want the kids to have a comfy crate when we are not home, I get concerned about all the eating of blankets and pooping them out and sometimes puking them up. We are lucky b/c while not part of the same littler and not actually related, our two babies love each other so much that they are actually calm and happy when in same crate so we only have to worry about ONE crate. We have had other dog beds of this nature and come home to what looks like is an explosion of stuffing and whatnot. this has survived for us so far and my babies are healthier NOT eating blankets. using the ties to secure it in a crate vs using it in the open, did not give them a little "end" to suck on or chew. i think the texture (while its still comfy for their bodies) was not plush like other beds or blankets. so i think in our case, once they realized it was not something to chew, just don't even try. i put two large kongs in there w/the treats so they have something to chew during the day as well as music that i play that for calming for dogs. they chew on blankets tho all the time, not just when alone. they are exercised, healthy and get plenty of attention so i guess its just something they like to do. this has solved our problem. my dogs are large w/ powerful teeth so when reading people's negative reviews i really think that it would be impossible to know if this would work for each person b/c all dogs are so different. i think if we left this out of the crate w/o it being tied down, that our dogs would go to and end and chew. with it being tied, this makes it harder to do and i think in their minds its just not a chewable item like the other blankets so they just gave up and use their kongs. i think they think its part of the crate and may not realize its a removable item. they are crazy smart in other ways so am glad they have not figured that out. i think now w/the easy return process we are spoiled and used to being able to just return things but in reality its a risk when you buy something. if you buy a dress that looks good and so then wear it and find its actually uncomfortable or has some annoying feature, well, you have already worn it and can't take it back. its a chance you take. This seller's details are very clear about returns and replacement. a replacement wouldn't help if a dog already destroyed one b/c it will prob destroy again but perhaps that person could use as a gift for someone it may work for or even sell it. it does work for some. After two large blankets became pieces of thread w/all the chewing (AND EATING), i was at my wits end w/options. the spray does not work for us as my dogs love all flavors of all items. LOL. so was willing to invest and risk the money. again, we have a large size and i am glad i only had to buy one since they insist on sharing a crate!

Not worth the hype mine had a hole in the bottom in less than a week.
Held off paying this much for a crate liner but was tired of replacing them, I have a heavy chewing GSD. After reading about K9 Ballistics I figured it would be worth the cost in the long run. A week and then a hole is not a long run. Let me say these are very well made and under most situations should last. But thats not what they say you have a 120 day damage proof guarantee. Im used to a very good return / exchange policy from Amazon. !st issue I ran into is you pay for return shipping on the damage product. That in itself unfortunately makes me think the product is not at the level claimed and will prevent any further K9 Ballistics purchases. I really hate this I really wanted to give their items a shake down. Well it is what it is. Just my feeling have a good day !

No match for a dedicated chewer (sad given that this is the type of dog it's designed for)
Not indestructible, but better than the cheaper ones found at local pet stores. While not a complete failure hence the 3 stars, my dog did manage to get some decent holes in this mat within his first day in his crate with it. Thankfully, with the rip-stop fabric, these holes have managed to stay relatively small and he didn't get much stuffing out of it.With a combination of some good spritzes with bitter apple, the crate pad is still doing strong albeit some chew holes on the edge padding. The central padding section is still fully intact. One big benefit is that the bottom corners of the mat are set up to put through some zip ties to fasten it down to the bottom of the crate. If we put our guy in there when he was frustrated he used to pull up the pad and chew on the edge, now he can't.Our dog is also getting older and maturing a little so is not really throwing tantrums on the mat so that also plays a part on its continued existence.Overall, I'd say that if you can afford it give it a shot, but I would not have bought it given its performance. I would have instead purchased on of theirs or another makers hammock bed (the ones with the metal or plastic frame around a canvas or nylon material bed)

My dog tore through this on the first day of use. Not worth the amount of money!
