Works as advertised. Using as a warmer for newborn squirrels. Taped the temp probe to the bottom inside of the box and it does a fantastic job. Pad warms only where contact is made. Does not give off convective heat.

Easy to use. Directions were easy to understand and follow. Temperature was accurate when tested with infered thermometer. Great purchase!Unfortunately, (03/23) a month ago the thermostat died. The heating pad still works.

Came well packaged with all instructions included. Easy to understand and connect the heat pad to the thermostat. Liked that you have to hold down the SET button in order to change the desired temp so there are no accidental sets.This was purchased to heat a Dubia Roach colony bin. A hole just big enough for the probe to go through was made and the probe attached to the inside wall of the bin(will be moved to the middle egg flat) and the heat mat is on the outside. I originally only used the adhesive backing included with the heat mat and went over the adhesion multiple times to make sure it was well bonded. It held up over night, but, during the day today, I heard something fall. I found the heat mat had come off of the bin and was laying on the ground. This could have caused a hazard, especially if I had not been home. I have since used a heat resistant tape to hold it at the top and will be adding more to insure it will not fall again. Otherwise, it has worked well.

Product works well & keeps my snake warm! No issues so far.

Buy this over the Zilla thermostat. It actually works like it’s supposed to and it’s cheaper

Worked great for about a month-ish with only a 2° variation which is pretty good at this price. Then as I went to change the setting as I do every morning to day/night cycle my snake's enclosure, the LCD failed. It thankfully still works, but I can't read the display so I'm forced to check it with my laser thermometer after an hour or so. The design isn't well thought out at it uses membrane type buttons and they just put a flexible cover over top of the entire unit which pushes against the screen. I don't push it very hard but due to the design it's built in a way that almost guarantees it will fail if you have to change the settings daily. If you plan on using this one I highly suggest a seperate thermostat controller so you don't have to touch the thermostat itself. More cables and space needed to do so but if temperatures need changed at any point its absolutely necessary with this thermostat.Also the heat pad adheres good and after the first 5 hours it will stay at the temp you want very well. It has a hard time adhering to the spot that you put the temp probe. I had to add tape to the spot with the probe as it fell of the first day. If you have a setup where you don't need to probe directly on the mat this won't be a problem for you. I have a glass enclosure so it is required, and needs tape to hold half the mat up.

The media could not be loaded. Adhesive on the mat works good. The thermometer is really easy to use/Read. I would recommend it

This straight up does not work, at least for what I need it for. I purchased this item for my 20-gallon terrarium that houses my two white's tree frogs. The heat mat stuck to the side of the terrarium, so the adhesion was okay. I had the set temperature at 85 degrees and the highest it said it was getting was 82.something. The heat mat was warm to to the touch but it was not heating up the wall it was on or the terrarium in the slightest. It didn't do anything at all. I tried to see what I maybe could have been doing wrong but no, this just doesn't work. Wasted money.

My old temp on the mat for my ball python was scaring me bc it read 107 but felt like maybe 60 on the inside, this one though temp is 100 accurate and super easy to install. Love that's the power outlet goes into the gauge and it only takes one outlet. Instead of two lole my old one. Highly recommended.

This mat works exactly as described. It heats up quick and the price was cheaper than some other ones that I looked at. Sticks well, and works best with a temperature controller. It is a little small but there its sized accordingly. There is also a bigger one that you can order I think. But if this fits your space though, pick it up because it’s a good mat.

It's a perfect heat pad for the snake.

I just need it to keep the temp over 70 F. Works well for that, would not be effective for reptiles that need high temperatures.

Used for my cuttings, sped up my rooting. Paired it with the vivosun thermostat and worked like a charm. I DO NOT recommend this product for anyone who needs it for an aquarium or reptile enclosure. The 3m adhesive is very lacklustre to say the least. When I peeled off the 3M paper much of the adhesive came with it. This worked out better for the purpose I needed it for but for pets take caution
