We LOVE these knives! They look good and since we purchased them, we have yet to sharpen them. They have a nice heft to them, but are light enough to handle with ease. They are not rust resistant though, because my son put a couple in the dishwasher and when we were unloading it, to my surprise I saw my beautiful knives in it and one of them had a rust stain.

Have used these at work for a few weeks now. I wanted a cost-effective knife set that I wouldn't worry about being damaged. These work great! They are well balanced although I wish there was a slight bit more heft to them. Other than that they are fine. I have used the chef and santoku knives so far; they are very sharp and hold their edge for a long time.

Great quality for a fraction of the price. My oldest daughter is using these for her culinary arts classes, and the teacher has had no issues regarding them.
