Replacement cover for my Koehler Toilet
The cover that came with my new Koehler Toilet lost it's ability to shut by itself, so I ordered a new one. It arrived very fast, was easy to install and is now working perfectly.

Love the slow close in a house full of boys
So far so good but we haven't had it very long. People say the slow close breaks easily. We are actually replacing another slow close product from another company so it seems an engineering flaw if they break easily, not necessarily poor manufacturing. That being said, we do have 4 boys in the house so it gets use all day every day. I won't complain!

Bad design.
Bad engineering. In installation the "U" shape of the assembly spreads as it is tightened and the cap can't be fastened. With trial and error I had to loosen the bolt and place the cap on but only as far as to be able to tighten the bolt. It took three or four tries to be able to tighten everything over a week of adjustments. Needs improvement.

I ordered this product because of the Kohler name. A fragile "quick release" part broke during preparation for installation. Stupid me. I returned the item and reordered. The replacement arrived and a broken part - a tab cover for a "quick release" feature - fell out of the box before I could unpack the entire product! This item cost 2-3 times that of the competition and, in my experience, it is expensive plastic junk! I did NOT order the same replacement again.

Works great, no issues
No complaints, the seat looks and works great. It was also pretty straight forward to install. Would buy one again.

Total garbage
Amazing that a large company like Koehler would let something this bad out the door. The bolts for the installation cannot be figured out from the instructions (there’s half an hour of my life that I’ll never see again) and the seat cover doesn’t go all the way back so you can’t sit comfortably on the seat. It’s just junk.

I was a bit surprised to see a few scratches ...
I was a bit surprised to see a few scratches on the top lid. When I removed the plastic film after installing the seat I noticed the scratches. I am not saying they were deep scratches...just light scratches but irritating just the same.
