Depends on your battery of course I got about a little short of 4 hours on 4 amp hour battery.

Q: Can you leave us in the rain?

We personally do not leave ours outside as we use it on our patio or while we are boating. That being said, it is constructed of plastic mostly (minus the bulb) so I assume it would be just as rain resistant as any other zapper. It is fairly lightweight with the battery out so wouldn’t take a lot of wind to blow it around/over.

Q: Does this use the same battery as the leaf blower.?

There are 2 types of batteries. This one is the 18v plus. If the leaf blower uses the 18v plus then yes it’s the same battery.

Q: what color is the light?

The lantern part is typical fluorescent and the zapper light is a light blue. Works great

Excellent product

I have been using this item for a while. I love it. It has 3 regular light settings and the bug zapper light. There are 2 buttons on top for easy use. One for bug zapper and one for the regular light. The bug zapper will shut off automatically but the regular light will stay on. The regular light is not super bright even on its highest setting but it does help attract bugs. The bug zapper is very powerful and will kill large bugs. This light has a good build quality but I feel the blacklight and zapper are a bit fragile. I would not recommend dropping the unit.

If you don't love Ryobi 18 volt tools, Have you used them???? This bug zapper is just one more tool in the arsenal of 18 volt tools I currently own. This is larger than you'd think and works better than expected!! In other words ... PERFECT

Doesn’t really work as described. It attracts bugs but didn’t seem to kill them! Disappointed that I spent $90 on this tool and it is basically a paper weight with a light

Camping Must Have

Absolutely love this bug zapper. Definitely helps keep the mosquito population down around campsites and outdoor areas. Would rate it five stars if there was an easier way to clean and clear the carcasses that don't fall into tray. I don't necessarily take my air compressor on my camp trips, and that seems to be the best way to clear the dead bugs so they don't short the circuit or continue to fry. Other than that, it is a good item to have.
