This replaced our old kitchen light fixture. It is excellent quality for the price! I love that the light filter is frosted glass and not plastic, while the shade is a off-white fabric. The shade color is warm, inviting, modern and the metal is high quality.There is a video on installation on the Amazon site, this was very helpful! Also it came with metal type straw guides for ease of installing the mounting brackets.Two things to consider when installing is the seam placement on the shade (in picture) and bulb type selection. The seam doesn't bother me but may bother some. Also, you can slightly see the bulbs when turned on and off but the diffuser does a good job. I love using Kasa led warm light smart bulbs (mine are at 65%), I tried some 3000k LEDs and they were way too bright! With smart bulbs, you can adjust to the perfect brightness.Instal tip: wear some clean plastic gloves during shade and glass handling, then you won't end up with finger prints and any staining of the shade.

Looks great! Well made, seems to be good quality for the money. Installation is a bit tricky, but if we can do it, you can too!! The biggest problem is the 2 screws that need to come down thru the flush mount base. There’s no way to see because the base is in the way. We struggled for a bit, but we finally worked it out. Even so, I highly recommend, you won’t be disappointed. Grab your spouse or a friend to help, it’s a great bonding experience!

This light fixture went up easily. After replacing the junction box (old house, not the light fixture's fault) the wiring was seamless, the "straws" are excellent in getting screws and holes lined up, and the fixture now sits flush to the ceiling! My only reason for giving 4 instead of 5 stars is that before installing the shade, I scrubbed my hands and wore gloves to unwrap it from the cellophane wrapping it was shipped in, due to it being an off-white fabric. There are dark gray smudges around the shade in places I did not handle it. Will be trying to clean them. Other than that, excellent purchase.

The media could not be loaded. Boyfriend installed for me, said it wasn't bad. It's really bright. I think it looks nice.

Bought 6 of these for our hallways and they provide much better light and provide a modern look. A great easy update to our home.

Easy install, looks great!

This took a lot of effort and a trip to the hardware store to install. With the light being flush to the ceiling, you are relying upon two bolts to blindly poke through the insulated backing and into the main mounting surface with the bulbs. Extremely frustrating! Not long enough! Go to the hardware store and get two bolts that are double the length of those included that still thread through the mounting disc. Also get two washers, and two wing nuts. The finish nuts are pointlessly frustrating and unusable with the longer bolts. They will never be seen and won't support the light's back plate properly without washers. See my pictures. I accidentally picked up cool colored LED bulbs which are going back. ENJOY!
