This fit perfectly & works great. I bought one to start off (see left 1st picture) and I liked it so much I installed another one. The first one I used a hacksaw to cut the downspout which took some effort because my hacksaw blade was dull. The second install was simple using a sawzall and my hacksaw for the finishing cut so not to hit the house. I may do 1 or 2 more in the future and will put something behind the downspout when I cut it so I won’t have to worry about damaging the house. Excellent product and I like being able to close the diverter when needed to.

We put this on three of our gutters and it works great. Was very easy to install and it allows most of the water flow to flow into our rain barrels.

I was very impressed with this unit. It seems to be well designed and built with quality materials. It fit my 4” by 3” down spout very nicely. I like the tabs and used them as guides for the screw holes. You need to close the shoot door before settling on the location for the screws. If you put it too far up the door will not close. So measure carefully and don’t just push it up as far as it will go. I always appreciate when the include extra screws or other hardware. This had 6 scews and you should only need 4. The screws com with a #2 Phillips slot which is better than a flathead slot. However the best way to put in these self tapping screws is with a 1/4” nut driver. It has the hexagon head but it is slightly too big for a 1/4” nut driver (the standard for gutter screws.). Other sizes were too large so I had to use the Phillips screw driver.

To collect rainwater and to connect the water barrel to the rain gutter I searched for something what could be put in the gutter and what could be open to collect the water and could be closed if the barrel is full.This item does exactly what I wanted. I’m very pleased. It fits completely, installation was easy, performance is great, it’s worth every cent

The diverters work great. ~90% of the water is diverted from the drain back to the yard. This is great when we don't get much rain like this summer. But when we get rain for multiples days, I can't flip it up and it will all go to the drains.These diverters are not Stainless Steel. They are magnetic and even have a magnet built in to hold the chute in the up position. They have a good powder coating white paint but opening and closing it too many times will wear the paint off and then it will rust. Hopefully that will be a few years in the future.

On the surface it’s a good idea but because the sides and back of the gate water is allowed to run down the sides and escape the gate. I can think of it working during a prolonged downpour.

Easy to install! Filled up my barrel in one rainstorm! Now just fold it up till im out of water!

Very easy to install, fits perfectly.I love the simple design that alos makes it work very well. No small holes or parts that can clog. Love the magnetic close.My water barrels have filter so it does all I need for my layout.If i wanted to place it further away from the barrel might not be easy but not a problem.Perfect for my need.

Okay...so installed and worked okay while the diverter was open. Rain barrel filled as one might expect. But the thing is super difficult to screw into place...and the bottom/outlet is WAY bigger than my downspout...so I can't get it to seal up for the winter. So had to take it off completely for the winter and throw in a replacement piece of downspout and connectors.I mean its well constructed, solid with a nice finish. But the whole connection system to existing gutters is poorly designed. I may or may not install again in the spring.

installation pas trop compliquer. j'ai coller une bande de caoutchoou dans le fond afin dA'voir un maximum de récupération d'eau. aussi les instruction donnée pour la coupe ne sont pas les bonnes faite attention
