Works great!
Very easy to install. The videos are very helpful. Works great with a 48v battery. I have yet to try the higher gears since 1st and 2nd get the bike plenty fast enough for me. I was able to buy a slightly bigger fireproof bag on Amazon which holds both my 48v battery and the controller. The written instructions have some interesting translations. I especially like "DIY your fancy ebike!"

It didn’t work!!
I bought a 20AH 48V battery to go with this kit. I put the gear on the tire and installed it. I then hooked it everything up to the controller. I used their instructions which were terrible at best. I tried using the throttle to see if the hub would spin before I mounted everything to the bike. It don’t work. Also when I plugged in the lcd display it too didn’t work. I checked my battery for voltage, it had 51V so I know that wasn’t the problem. On top of that the controller isn’t fused. So when you plug your battery in if you get a little arc it could just fry the controller. If you haven’t already bought a battery, buy one already assembled. I like to tinker so I’m returning this and buying another kit. But if you don’t like to tinker this could be a waste of time. FOR THE COMPANY please make more descriptive instructions.

The good and the bad
First, the bad. The written instructions were none existent but the video instruction were able to be followed along well enough. Item does NOT come with a battery. I bought a 48 volt battery, I recommend you shell out the extra couple hundred and get a 72 volt battery as the controller for this WILL handle it with some settings adjustment. It does not go quite as fast ass I wanted it to and I read on another review that a 72 volt battery will fix this issue. The tire they sent for the wheel had a manufacturing defect and would NOT fit on the rim. Customer service is non-communicado and I had to get a new tire and inner tube. Now for the good. The controller on this thing has a bunch of options that I was not expecting, very cool. The motor is pretty powerful and fast for hauling around a big guy like me. I hope to get more power and speed out of a better battery. And that's all I got, peace!
