Premium Reusable Ice Wrap for Knee Pain Relief with Ice Bag 28cm

I purchased this for my wife who has osteoarthritis in her left knee. The physiotherapist recommended that she use ice on her knee after she has been out walking with the dog. We have tried several types of gel packs over the years, but they all split fairly quickly with daily use so we thought we'd try something new.This pack uses ordinary ice cubes and it's been most the effective one we've had. It is colder than the gelpacks, covers a wider area and the neoprene wrap holds the pack in place firmly. The bag itself is easily filled and emptied and does not leak.We are very pleased with it and would recommend it to anyone with knee trouble looking for an easy to use and reliable ice pack.

Excellent piece of kit. I bought two as I’m having problems with both knees. I simply feel them with water and leave them in the fridge. Because they are not frozen, they cover the whole affected area once you attach the neoprene straps. Oh and they are definitely cold enough. Can be used as a heat pack too. I definitely recommend these.

Very pleased with this cool wrap, and would thoroughly recommend one to anyone who needs to apply ice therapy to knees (or indeed other joints) - so much better than the 'bag of frozen peas wrapped in a towel' trick. I'm currently using it several times a day to reduce the swelling on a knee injury, and returning the bag to the freezer after each use to chill for half an hour at a time. After I've recovered it will then be rolled up and put away to have ready for the next timeEasy to use and comfortable to apply direct to the skin without the need for wrapping in a towel etc. The neoprene & velcro wrap is very effective and makes it possible to sit in a chair or lie in bed with the pack kept in place, so you can keep both hands freeVery similar to what hospitals use, except I'd say this was probably better because it has a fabric outer layer that allows much longer direct skin contact than the plain rubber ones that they useNext am postage was quite pricey but I can't complain because it was clearly advertised at that rate, and it turned up exactly as promised - if I hadn't done my knee in then I wouldn't have needed it so quickly anyway!

This is not as user friendly as you would hope. It would have to be used with ice cubes. Filling it with water obviously causes it to be one large inflexible ice block. It would be better if it was full of a flexible gel.There are better products out there this.

Bought 2 as knees were quite painful after took strap off, after 2 weeks started on my ankles as they were becoming quite aching whilst the knees were so much better reducing need for the tendon straps have. Bought 3 x 18 plastic ice cubes for re-use and ease of use, great combination as the tendon straps help me walk all day then spend times sitting in field with ice bags on reducing the inflammation. Now begun Alexander technique to try and sort the cause out, only being for 1 visit and was quite amazed at the benefit. So straps, ice bags, plastic ice cubes to reduce and alleviate the pain and discomfort but then tackle the cause!

Couldn't manage without it , had TKR and I ordered this whilst in hospital and it arrived 2 days later, FANTASTIC , I have had it filled with ice for the past week and it's great , use it with and without the knee strap support move it where ever I need it, my leg was so red and swollen this ice pack has been a god send virtually stuck to me all day and all night , thank you .. I love it and I rely on it .
