Verify screw measurement on ring.
Dimensions were exact. Fitment was very good. Remember to install sealant around ring if using wear water can easily get in.

Works great and is watertight
Although the price is a little steep I understand there isn't any options for 5" access ports on Amazon. Overall, was easy to install, sealed it up with some silicone, and the ports seal itself seems to be quite watertight. Great product overall.

Easy clean for water tsnk
I installed this on top of my RV water reservoir. It allows me access to the inside of the tank. I can now clean the tank thoroughly and totally dry it out between uses. Love this new option!

Great kayak hatch
I own a Perception Outlaw 11.5 fishing kayak and needed access the inside of the hull at the stern so I could install a trolling motor mount. I searched Amazon and found this 5 inch hatch. Various manufacturers make these hatches in white, black, or metal. I chose this one in black because it matches the other black components on my kayak. It arrived without damage and appears well made. It did not come with mounting screws like some of the other manufacturers, but this was not a problem for me. Instead of self tapping screws, I chose to use machine bolts and lock nuts to secure the hatch to the kayak. Installation was fairly easy. I cut the hole with a Dremel tool using a multi purpose bit and it provided a smooth, clean cut. The hatch fit nicely in the opening and I then proceeded to drill the holes for the bolts. I used marine grade silicone on the back of the mounting plate prior to bolting it into place. The hatch looks good and serves it's purpose of allowing hull access when I need it and keeps water out well so far. I would highly recommend this hatch to any Perception Outlaw owner looking for an affordable, easy to install hatch.
