Vinteky A3 LED Light Box Pad Ultra Slim Brightness Adjustable Art Craft Drawing Tracing Tattoo Board Lightbox

Seeing as getting an old traditional animation desk from the Disney golden days isn't affordable and behind with optimisation, I wanted to create my own D.I.Y animation by picking up an ultraslim lightbox pad and taccing/sticking down my pegbars in the necessary borders of the box. Both a western and eastern animator's kit.Now finding a very solid lightbox has always been a scary job as these ultra slims have an awful reputation for being too thin, snapping their cords easily, inconsistent light, density and material quality. However, after reading a well descriptive review on this particular product which addressed my concerns, I took the risk and purchased it. After receiving this thing with an unexpected early delivery, I can wholeheartedly say, it's a bloody good lightbox!1) Instead of 0.5mm which always gives the impression that it barely passed the safety checks, this is 0.8mm thick which eliminates the worry of breaking this product. Indeed this increases the weight of by nearly double, but that's OK! No artist or animator wants to feel their about to crush their table when drawing. It can rest easily on a tabletop or lay flat on a desk, whichever fits your needs.2) The charge cable is a jack plug which tightly clicks into place deep in the product preventing a snap. Which ever your rotate the cable, it'll lock into place. Within the box you have the option of plugging this into a power supply via an adapter plug, or using it via USB into other sources. ALWAYS pick wall power! It is more power efficient and doesn't require another product to be turned on to use it. This lightbox cannot be charged up, so it'll only work when power is on. Twofold this prevents it from getting hot across the board. The only area that collects heat is the on/off button tucked away in a far corner, and it's not even morbidly hot.3) It has three light modes, which statistically may send people into a negative panic. But this is hardly the case... To prevent messing around with holding and dragging sliders for specific brightness, you have locked levels of brightness (bright, brilliant bright and stupidly bright), and on the lowest setting, this thing is still very bright! If you're working with traditional animation, you'll be able to see well over 10 frames and still retain sustained visibility. If doing draftsman work, you'll see through watercolour paper just fine.4) Now this one may have many singing. This product does NOT come with a branded logo on the borders of the box, which is always a distraction and an ugly puddle of marketing when working. There is but only a clean black border with a 42cm x 32cm ruler guide tucked nicely to the edges and in small scale.5) The light given is diffused and gorgeously clean. Diffused meaning it is equalised in all areas of the panel and not beaded in rows like a neon sign. Lastly there is light that shines from the side where the myth of "it's not efficient or good with border light" may shake a few feathers, but this quickly becomes adaptable and you'll be so busy with what you're doing that it merely becomes some sort of sour aristocratic option that loosens it's grip on you.Concluding this product is the bees knees. Not only do you get yourself a carrier bag, well packed box and paper samples, the company actually offers the option of custom-making your own table at whatever scale you desire. Should you need something specific and specialised, you can always contact them for a specific job and they'll make it for you. That to me is awesome and this is something I will keep using and abusing until I kill it with too much work. Lastly, this murders Huion's lightboxes in comparison and you would be wise to consider picking this lightbox up! It is affordable and a trustworthy tool for any creative soul out there.

This light pad is a great buy. I love it, it helps so much when I'm doing my diamond painting, it really is a game changer. After lots and lots of searching and reading reviews I decided to pay that little more and go for this one. It was actually a chap who left a very detailed review on it that sold it me. I like the fact you just click the power button to reach the brightness you want. None of this press and hold while it dims up & down. Simple and easy to use. Would highly recommend.. and no USB port! Great product, box arrived looking a bit bashed but it works fine and no damage so I'm happy.

Love this light pad, I bought a slightly cheaper one which lasted just under 3 weeks which I sent back and received a full refund through Amazon. I decided to go for a dearer option and I am so glad I picked this one, what a difference in the two. This one is much sturdier, looks good, brightness options are excellent and it even arrived with its own bag which I didn’t expect. If your looking for an A3 light pad I doubt you will find a better one for the price*****

Received it a few days ago and so far has been perfect. Thinner and a lot lighter than my previous lightbox, and the different brightness settings mean you don’t have to hurt your eyes to use it when you don’t need full brightness. But when required the brightest setting is extremely good and overall great value for money

I have had a 5mm one before which has failed. This one is 8mm and has a jack fitting rather than a mini USB connection.The others failed due to the wires coming loose and detaching them selves. A friend rewired it but it failed again. So this being thicker with a different connection is the answer to my prayers. A bonus was the carry bag and the large clip.I have high hopes. Update it is working well and I'm very pleased.

Amazing item.I am very pleased with it. It is solid, ultra thin and bright enough! The price is reasonable and good quality. A good experience. recommend it.

The plug has broken after two months.I was sent a replacement but it had the plug missing.Was told another one would be sent but I won’t get it for another month.
