Active fun a toddler can enjoy.
We were able to adapt this set with another we had purchased earlier, which made for a very impressive layout. The crane is the key to why this is the best set, since it can control other talking trains in a rudimentary sense by pausing all the trains. which is useful in case of derailments. The crane and all the talking trains recognize each other by name.

We bought this for our 3 year old train obsessed grandson. He loves it!! We've had it since Christmas, and he still plays with it daily! If you have a train lover you can't go wrong with this!

interesting packaging
I was not sure if this was actually "new". There was tape holding the box together and all the pieces were just tossed into the box. If there had been a problem with it not working I would have sent it back but it worked fine. It was just odd packaging to me.

Perfect gift
My son loves these train sets. They are simple to put together, don't easily come apart while playing, are fun and interactive, and the best part is that you can hook together different sets. The quality is fantastic and I love watching him find new ways to play with it everyday.
