The Birch Bark Flameless Candles look great on our mantle and offer a realistic "burn" when turned on. The three varied-height candles are pleasing together or separated, were easy to figure out as far as removing the AA battery covers on each one, inserting the batteries, and snapping the cover back on, and immediately started flickering when the on button on the bottom of the candle was engaged. The flickering option for the candle is incredibly realistic, causing my husband to start with alarm when he noticed them as he thought the flame was too close to the fall leaves I had arranged on the mantle around the candles. I also appreciate that the body of the candle glows (rather than just the flame bulb) as it provides more warm light. Once out of the package and in use, they actually look very birch tree-like - and the remote control option is awesome! Press the hr time button (such as the 6-hr option) at the start time of the time you want the candle to begin burning every night, and you are set until the batteries run out. The three candles have been running for 24-hrs over a period of 4 days with no loss of battery power. Am about to purchase another set for a 2nd room. It's a really great, flameless, set it and forget it option.

I’m using these in a room with a cabin like feel for Christmas. They work great and are attractive and functional. They don’t have the look of a ‘real’ flame but they do flicker. They’re not very bright but they’re perfect for ambiance.

These are great, I love that it has remote control, so I don’t have to get up and flick the switch on the bottom of the candle all the time. Works great and looks good.

Last year I bought this brand of birch bark real wax flameless candles. They are awesome. I was looking to get another set of the same exact flameless candles. Unfortunately, they no longer make/sell what I bought last year. These are alright. The wick is not as nice and they the pillars don't match what I already had even though that part is still the same (real wax birch bark). They are darker and when lit they are much more orange/warm - so the bulb inside them is completely different as well. I wish they still made/sold the ones I purchased last year that had the flat moving wick as they have a better look. This new version is just not as nice as what used to be available.On the positive side, they do work with the same remote as the ones I purchased last year. It's nice that I don't have to have a bunch of remotes to turn on/off the different sets of candles. The ones I already had, of various brands, all take AAA batteries and these new ones take AA. Not a big deal to have to purchase different batteries for the different sets of candles.

I used this product for my outdoor lanterns. Its winter here and so far they are holding up really well. The remote controls work very well - no fooling around with switches on the bottom of the candle.

Love these candles. Just wish they gave a higher level of light.
