I like the resistance it started with. It's a nice work out I was sweating in 3 minutes it's easy to fold up and put away when you finish, it's more than I expected for the price. The seat is comfortable and it does performance with ease. Great buy

The main reason I bought this rower over the others is the size. I have very limited space and this one has a small footprint. It's also light and when folded, can stand by itself, although I like to rest it against a wall. The other main reason I bought it is the price. I also got it during Prime Day so even cheaper than normal. Obviously this basic rower is not as advanced as the many other options out there, but again the size and price can't be beat if you are space-limited. There are 3 different resistance levels which can be adjusted underneath, and I feel that they can provide a decent workout as long as you have good rowing technique (watch Youtube for tips on this).The reason I am deducting 1 star is that a few parts were missing, specifically 2 of the flat washers. Also, one of the bolts stripped when I was tightening the footrest bar/axle, so it's hard to tighten or loosen now. Finally I find that the seat is a bit too firm and would benefit from more cushioning.But overall, for the price and compact size, this is a pretty good unit. Will wait and see if the 3 bands will continue to hold up.

I gave all of the categories 5 stars because it was easy to assemble, but I have knee problems and so I thought this would help but it's too low to the ground. If there was a way to keep the seat at its highest point for me to sit down on it would help but it slides all the way to the front which is the lowest point so I can't use it. I'm handicapped and the box got ruined in transit so I can't return it. chalk it up to a loss.

For the price it is good. Compared to others it is just OK. If youbare looking for somewhat to start for cheap this isnyour option. If younare lookimg for good quality maybe up the price bracket.The tension on the rowing handle is not very much and difficult to change. It works well for cardio not for strength. It is loud and not always smooth. It was packaged strange. There was a package of bolts and then randomly outside ther bag there was an extra bolt thrown in with a washer that I almost throw out in the trash. Instructions are not the best but still workable. It's an OK starter.

This is a perfect rower for beginners, not to expensive, not to hard to use so you won't give up.Easy to fold up and put away when not in use.Thank you.

As stated by another reviewer. This is a great beginning rowing machine. The counter/ calorie counter works for 3 to 5 reps then quits ,overall rating dropped due to this. Friction will cause the paint to wear combined with the weight of the user. I have gotten up to 300 reps in a ten minute time period on the highest setting. Gives a really good workout. Wish the counter worked better.

This is great does everything its supposed to do for you just like a more expensive one and gotta love that its very easy to put together..
