Amazing Paint!
I was skeptical with a water based paint for a fiberglass door but pleasantly surprised with this. The paint goes on almost like a glaze and requires 3 coats for best coverage. Don't worry, does not lay on thick and does not build up, it self levels into a very thin layer as if it were sprayed on in the factory. The chemists that developed this paint need kudos for creating a self leveling, non scented, acts and adheres like lacquer paint, and dries very quickly for second and third coats. I did pre-sand with 220 paper and cleaned with alcohol to insure good adhesion, using a sash brush and small roller to lay off the paint. All in all, this is a shockingly great product that I will use again and again.

Durable and great coverage!
Used this for my front door and door to my garage. It works well, held up to my dog jumping on it without scratching and my kids. Wipes clean and covered the ugly blue I had on the door with just two coats because it is a thick paint. Definitely recommend!

The color was true from one can to the next although I bought one six months earlier.
Good oil base paint and it went on smoothly and dried fast.

My experience with Rust-Oleum 369386 Advanced Dry Door & Trim Paint, Quart, Satin Nantucket Navy
I was very hesitant to purchase this particular product, but it was the ONLY brand that came even close to my color choice of dark (almost black) navy. When the two quarts of paint arrived, I let them sit there for three or four days. So, the day finally came when I was ready to see what we had. I had read so many not-so-great reviews about its consistency, clumping nature, bad odor, etc. and since we're under construction here, I don't have money to waste. I opened the first of the two cans, I was slightly disappointed at first because it was lighter in the can than I expected it to be, but there weren't any bad smells, no clumps, no hard rocks of paint, there was just blue liquid paint that looked like it might be a bit watery. I stood there looking at it for a minute and I figured that since I had opened it, I might as well give it a try. Let me tell you that I was sooooooooooooo pleasantly surprised by this paint. First of all, it's thin, but not drippy at all. It smells like regular paint to me, and I've always liked that smell. It glides onto my doors like frosting on a cake. It definitely will take at least two coats to get good coverage, maybe even three, but if I use three coats, it's only because I started painting on a medium minty green door and it's taking a little more paint to cover up all that hideous green. I said in the beginning that I wanted very dark navy, and I am positive that three coats will definitely accomplish that for me. I'm actually painting two doors that are exactly alike. I've put two coats on one of the four sides and only one coat on the other three sides. I've only used about half of the quart so far. I'm being very generous with the paint so that's not why it's taking three coats to cover. I think the thinness of the paint is what is requiring more coats, but I don't mind. If I was having to paint a whole house and not just two doors, I would maybe consider another brand of paint, but I'm not even sure about that because I'm really pleasantly pleased with this paint. I'm having to wait a couple of days between coats because we live in the swamps of Louisiana, and it's always damp and muggy here, plus it's too hot to paint during the day and mosquitos eat you up at night. It's an ongoing battle. I plan to get it all finished at some point in the coming week. The only reason I gave it 4 stars for durability is the fact that I haven't had it on the doors long enough to determine its durability. I also would like to say that the color of the paint (after 2 coats) is exactly the navy color shown on the can. It's gorgeous!I am truly sorry to those of you that had hit or miss results with the paint. I would have been very, very upset if my paint had arrived in the same condition some of you described.Michelle

Excellent but costly
I must have used 100 types of paint by Rust-Oleum. From sprays to cans of paint, primer, plastic paints, rust converter paints , clear sealers etc. and always happy. I had Ben Moore paint on outdoor wood fence and liked it. Decided to try this. Super smooth , great black color and its been months and it is holding up (outdoor fence) . I didn't need a gallon so this is perfect size. A bit costly although with inflation that's life. Goes on thin with roller, a slight bluesh tint but the satin black dries black and really is a good "warmer" black like the type everyone is using from Sherwin Williams.

Looks so Good!!
2 months in & it still looks great! I did not sand the door but I did wash it prior to painting. The paint had no problem sticking but it did leave brush strokes in a few spots so I painted another layer with a paint roller. I did not paint the interior side of the door but I did have paint left over to do so! The picture is right after it had dried but I did go back with white paint and fix where I touched the trim with blue👩‍🎨.
