DS-10A door/window sensor works very well. Shame that X-10 security system are not made anymore:(

Easy install, works as it should.

They do not have a long life.
Have had my system for many years and change the batteries twice a year. Now I find although the motion and window sensors have been replaced, they are only good for a year. I believe it is 'old stock' that we are buying now as this is an type system. Will look for a more up to date system.

the sensor is genuine, works just fine, is attractive,is brand name, good color, stickum slight problem on reuse,overall excellent.

Didn't work everyway I tried.. So worthless!
This is a new one that I purchased. Because was putting in one extra window sensor.Did work at all.. Wrote a letter to see if they could even fix it. I heard nothing back..

Short life
So far four of these units have died. The older models that are much older, are still working.

Be prepared for installation problems.
Works sometimes. Alarm rings sporadically for no reason.
