Q: How wide are these steps?

Wide enough for my 110 lb. Labrador to easily enter the back of our Lincoln Navigator. The pet stairs is my perfect helper as one of my dogs suffered one leg injury and he cannot jump. The stairs work great for him.

Q: I’m a truck driver and my dog is a golden retriever. He’s about 106lbs. Will it support my dog well?

It's really great, I have a big truck, it's very convenient to use, and this dog car ramp is very strong, very well made, my 108 lb son climbed up and down from the truck with the dog, very easy and safe. I will consider giving one to my friend.

Q: Can it be used in a pool?

I myself would not recommend using this in a pool just for the safety issues. These steps do not have a locking system. The way they stay open is the pressure when used/ stepped upon. Also I’m sure that there are chemicals used for pools. I’m not sure if the material the steps are made of would withstand such chemicals. Hope this helps.
