“On The Buses” is a bit like Marmite, you either love it, or hate it. I enjoy it for what is is, a product of it’s time, certainly not p.c. but a carry on type, low brow humour, never intended to offend, but just good fun. The three spin off films in this collection are able to take you to a time and place that has long gone. All three films were blockbusters, and the top grossing films of the year that they were released, even beating the James Bond films. Excellent value for the three films in one package. If you like a good old fashioned laugh, and you view them in the context of their time, treat yourself and enjoy an effortless guilty pleasure. Highly recommended.

Anybody debating over whether to buy the later edition with the film poster cartoon cover or this older brown cover should definitely go for the newer one. I love these films anyway so I would not leave a bad review but the brown cover version is definitely taken from old video tape. Movie number one even suffers from audio drop out during the title song and the first few seconds of playback are just a black screen with audio. Not so on the new cartoon cover version. The picture comes straight in and even the opening bars of music are slightly different so it must be an altogether different print. The colours are more vibrant and the picture is sharper which is nice to see. OK so some of the humour might be dated now but the 60's and 70's were innocent days in hindsight where you could have a laugh without fear of offending anybody. These days we might think ourselves more enlightened but we are in reality more censored than ever. Never mind political correctness this is 70's comedy at it's best and Stan, Jack and Blakey are on sparkling form.

I bought this really for Holiday On The Buses. It is one of those DVD's which is easy to watch and you don't have to concentrate on it. Same goes for the other two. There are two discs in the set. Mutiny On The Buses and Holiday On The Buses are on one disc and On The Buses is on the other. I bought them 'Used' and both discs are in good condition, and the case, too. The delivery time was good, came a day or two before the due date.

I always loved this show very much of it's timeWould never be made these daysPolitically incorrect and a bit sexist but very funny though and the bit in the safari park the monkeys and a lion get on the bus is funny

Disc one features the depot taking on women drivers disc two featuring stan and Jack and the family go to pontus for a driving adventure and last film featuring new manager introducing radio control stan getting engaged and stan on a wildlife bus trip to disaster

ON THE BUSES the tv series was a legend i loved it, THE HAMMER MOVIE VERSIONS ON THE BUSES,MUTINY ON THE BUSES and HOLIDAY ON THE BUSES were well written and excellent movies so funny as HAMMER HOUSE OF HORROR made sure as they did with horror movies. Its sad however that the fourth movie FUN ON THE BUSES was never made as this collection is excellent so get it and have a good old laugh with STAN JACK BLAKEY OLIVE and all the rest of this great cast these movies are as funny as the CARRY ONS and i love them too so buy this you will love ON THE BUSES MOVIES.

Purchased these DVD's because I have not seen the films in years. They are all very funny particularly "Mutiny on the Buses". I must say all the films have been remastered very well in fact they look as though they were made yesterday. It is sad to think that all the cast have since left us now apart from Olive (Anna Karen). Good to watch on a Sunday afternoon. Highly recommended.

Service by Vendor was Great and Fast....DVD plays good but the Movies from the On The Buses TV Series are not Good...Only On the Buses Holiday has any degree of Fun, but even it lets you down....!!!
