Would have been a 5 star product but the gasket seems a little cheap, arrived warped. I didn’t take chance with it a bought a fel-pro gasket. But the manifold it self fit perfect on my 1990 wrangler, heat shield needed to be removed but the YJ did not come factory with one anyways.

The manifold flange is too thick on the shared bolts with the intake manifold. This causes a wicked intake leak that will shoot idle up to around 4000 rpm. After grinding down the 4 bolt locations it’s still not perfect around 2000 rpm idle. This manifold is a time waster for sure. Either finish machining it before you try to install or try to get a repaired OEM manifold.

The casting is too thick by approximately 3/32” thus not allowing the flange head bolts to tighten both exhaust and intake manifolds correctly. The only solution I see is to grind off exhaust manifold at the appropriate areas. (Which would void the warranty) or somehow shim the intake at the same points.

Too thick for early models with the milled tabs that share the bolt with the intake. Will not hold intake tight without modification. First pic is this one , second pic is old one. Maybe they just forgot a step in manufacturing?!

Perfect fit on my 93 YJ. I kept the heat shield on just had to remove the vent. Some complaints about the gasket? I couldn't tell the difference from the $10. I ordered. It came with some hardware.
