I replaced my dated white lamp shades. Easy to put together. The size is smaller than my old shades but that’s what I was looking for. The color matches my furniture. Well made shades, and affordable .

I have a few ceiling lights that just aren't great. Saw this hack on Pinterest and HAD to give it a try. Updates the room and it also make my ceiling lights more focused and chill. Love these.Also super easy to put together and great quality.

I was surprised when this packaged arrived flat. I didn't know that there would be assembly required. That's no biggie, because the assembly was easy. The design for these lampshades is a very clever idea, but since you can see the little fasteners showing through the lampshades, it kind of looks cheap. Granted, they weren't expensive, but there was so much work put into this nifty concept, they should have taken things a bit further and perhaps used clear plastic to attache the shade to the two piece frame. I'm going to paint the lampshade a darker color anyway, so it will all work out. Great for the price.

I'm happy enough with them to keep them, but if you're a perfectionist you might not be satisfied with them. Putting them together was easier than I thought, but there isn't the same sturdiness as a traditional lampshade. It's not super noticeable, but there are very slight warping in the fabric since there's no solid backing. Otherwise they look nice and it's good enough for the lamps they are on.

I'm extremely satisfied with these lamp shades. I wanted black, but was also hoping that the black didn't keep light from shining through. As you can see in the pic, that is not a problem with these lamp shades. They allow plenty of light to shine through into the room. I added the gold accent along the bottom myself with washi tape, because gold and black lamp shades were significantly more money. These do require assembly, but it's very easy to do and only took a few minutes. These were exactly what I was looking for, and are of great quality for the price.

But, Amazon usually comes through so I thought “Maybe you just pop the lampshades open somehow and it’ll be fine.”Narrator: “That was not the case.”The lampshades arrived, completely dissembled, with assembly instructions. The actual fabric of the shade was rolled up in plastic and already had threads hanging off it. The metal parts were all separated in the box. AND the directions included the words paste! As in, PASTE the edges of the lampshade together. That’s when I knew it was going back.I would literally rather pay twice the price of these at Lowes and have them come assembled rather than take a chance, messing up the assembly of this, and then not being able to return it.

11/16/22 updating to 5 stars: The seller reached out to me and quickly resolved this issue and took steps to locate the root cause and prevent it from happening again. They very kindly offered to rush ship another set to me and I had them just a day or two later. They really did go above and beyond to fix this and I am so grateful, the second set is absolutely perfect! I can’t say enough about how well they handled this and how pleasant, prompt, and professional they were. I will definitely be buying from this seller again!These are really cute lampshades and I would have given 5 stars but sadly one is a lavender shade on the bottom and top edges rather than grey. I was hoping maybe I could just have the defective lampshade exchanged without having to take them both apart for the return but it looks like I’m going to have to return the set.
