I'm one of those guys who has been lucky regarding my eyesight, not needing glasses to read most things. However, I now find myself struggling to focus on the really small print that you get on most DIY products but not wanting to carry a pair of glasses around with me. Enter ThinOPTICS with these brilliant folding keychain glasses. Firstly, the glasses themselves are first class. Well made and they do grip the nose firmly but softly. I opted for the 2.0 strength as it is magnification that I primarily need and they are brilliant, allowing me to easily read the tiny print on the back of paint tins and alike. But what is really brilliant about these is that they remain fixed to my keychain so wherever I am I always have these with me for that moment when you need to read the small print. They slip in and out of the holder with relative ease. Happy to recommend these. 3 MONTH UPDATE: use these nearly every day and cannot count the number of times these have came to the rescue. Still as good as new and still attached to my key ring. Excellent product which I highly recommend.

Well designed highly functional product made from quality materials. The only let down is the very shoddy, cheap split ring supplied. Do not use it as It is weak and fails with hardly any effort. Attached to a backpack with this ring the specs will be lost for sure. Also the split ring has very sharp ends that will scratch your skin and damage your clothing. Hope Thinoptics read this and sorts this penny pinching problem.

I don't need glasses very often - just in the odd random situation - so I don't want to carry a full pair with me all the time. These work well for that use case. They're small enough to go on my key chain (although they're by far the biggest thing on it) and in my pocket, so I can take them everywhere without issue. Taking them out and putting them back is no problem. You need a little care when putting them on your nose because it's very easy to put them on wonky and then you look pretty weird, but if you pay attention you can put them on straight and they don't look too bad at all. They fit easily and comfortably anywhere on my nose. I think they'd get a bit annoying if you wanted to use them for any significant length of time though, because they're not exactly securely fastened. It would take only a light knock to make them fall off.

I was a bit worried I'd ordered the wrong strength as my optometrist said I needed +2.5 for reading and +1.5 for my desktop screen.I tried a couple of cheap pairs of +2.5 and felt they were a little bit too strong and there wasn't any focus leeway/margin; so these +2.0 have worked out perfectly as the focus range is +1.75 - + 2.25 and that means I can read close as well as use a tablet/phone/laptop or PC screen as that gives me a usable focus distance of around 200mm (8") to 500mm (20") which is perfect.The big benefit is that the storage key fob is so small it easily fits in the small coin/key/ticket pocket of a pair of jeans and can be with me at all times.There is a ring supplied so I could fit a small snap hook to carry them from a belt loop.Perfect: but for longer use I would probably go for better quality; same make but with arms or maybe 'progressive' lenses (ie: Prescribed varifocals).

When I first saw this I was dismayed. I had worked out how to extract it from its case & it flew across the room & looked not only flimsy but broken.In fact it wasn't either, just flexible.They are light. They fit securely on my nose, staying exactly where i put them.I have attached the case to my mobile, so they are always to hand. A brilliant product.

These are useful when you're caught without your regular reading glasses.Great when at the restaurant or supermarket for quickly reading a menu or label.Would give them a higher rating but after a couple of months use, the silicone pinch nez grips loose their grippyness and they become pretty useless staying on your nose for more than a few seconds.Not really worth their price, comfort and fit is good but not durable at all.

They’re ok. Not great for someone with a big nose but just about fit. They’re going to be convenient so will keep them for the odd occasion while out but not for reading a book as not too comfortable.
