OEM Upgraded Replacement for Janitrol Furnace Vent Air Pressure Switch B13701-33

Replaced original pressure switch on a goodman gas furnace. Still got the error from the furnace that the switch was bad after replacement. After a quick scrapping of the draft blower hose port and replacing the hose it started right up. Note: the new switch doesn't have barbs on the port like my old one which may have contributed to the first failure after restart as the hose sat looser. A new hose cost me 39 cents at ace hardware so consider that during your replacement.

It's for Goodman but I used it to replace the old Rheem pressure switch. The bracket attached to the furnace was different from the old one. I moved the old bracket from the Rheem switch to this one. Because both the diameter and the bolt holes are exactly the same with the old sensor, it fits 100% perfect.The Rheem switch was 0.30pf but this one is 0.35pf. I ordered this because I needed asap. Amazon Prime delivered the next day. The 0.05pf difference wasn't an issue. It works perfect.

Part showed up 1 day after garenteed. Installed and heater now works. Not sure how this part is improved over the original, but because I was able to diagnose the issue properly it definitely fixed my issue. Because the wire terminals are in a different location I had to modify installation location slightly to accommodate

This switch seems to toggle between open and closed quite a bit during furnace operation, even when the blower is going full speed. Can't be due to a leak in the hoses or elsewhere since the high pressure rated switch stays closed.

Seems to be a better switch than the original.
