I used it on carpet. The carpet doesn't slip around.

I have hardwood floors and even rugs with non-slip backings still end up sliding around a bit. This backing cloth works amazingly well for keeping my rugs in place. I just cut a piece of cloth to a size slightly smaller than the rug, then place it on the floor and place the rug on top. No need to glue it or sew it, although you could certainly do that for extra security if your rug has no backing at all. The cloth is thin (2mm thick, which is just a little more than 1/16th of an inch), so it doesn't add much to the profile of your rug -- this is handy for rugs near doors.

This a decent size of backing cloth! It cuts easily and i was able to attach it to my rug just using gorilla glue spray adhesive.It provides a great support for my rug and so far the non slip has been holding up to its word

I just started learning how to tuft. I made a small rug and used this for the backing. It was easy to cut. Material seems very good. Rug did not slide. Glue went on very easy. Great value for my money.

This material is perfect for my intended use. I am going to use it for making house slippers, and the non slip pattern on the bottom will work very well for the soles. As an added bonus, it came packed in a super cute adjustable draw string bag with little bunnies, cherries, and red capped mushrooms! The bag is a pretty thick frosted/matte plastic material. Don't know if I just got lucky, or if this is how they pack everything. But, this cute bag will definitely be saved and reused for a little girl I know. I am happy with the material, and the bag.

Nice anti-slip fabric. Performs well for the underside of custom rugs. Come in unusual packing. The fabric was in a thick plastic drawstring bag vs the plastic cellophane you usually get with these. It was pleasantly surprising. It also allows the chemical smell these usually have to dissipate before arriving since the bag is slightly open at the top.

I purchased this to use as a backing for my handmade tufted rugs and I love the outcome! It makes them look nice and clean, and the design on the back helps the rug from slipping and moving around pretty well.
