I bought this for mounting a TV in my fitness room. I wanted the TV up off of a table I previously had it on, and wanted to be able to point it toward whatever piece of equipment I'm using that day. I spent about 2 hours assembling and installing it, by myself and chasing various tools, except for hanging the TV on it (50 lbs.) which I had my wife help me with. I've found the unit to be sturdy, but easily rotated. Although it's nice that they included their inexpensive tools, I used my own sockets and ratchet. It was interesting to note that the metric marked lag screws (8.8) fit a 1/2" or 9/16" socket better than any metric size. I also appreciated the very thorough instructions (these may be a recent addition, judging from some negative reviews) including what size drill to use for the lags. I might have chosen a larger drill for easier driving of the screw, but I'm assuming the specified size is what they designed and tested the unit for, so I used that. The screw length/spacer discussion was a little cryptic. I went for the smallest spacers and a screw length that gave me the best engagement in the back of the TV.

This mount is very easy to put together and install. It holds my 55” tv with ease. For the price you definitely can’t beat it. It can be mounted different ways and has been very sturdy. The two plugs on the mounting pole are extremely handy. Only thing I dislike is that the mounting bars are not locking. So if it’s in a place where it can get bumped a lot I would second guess this. Otherwise it moves easily and can be adjusted height wise easily. Performs great.

Not a lot of tilt or rotation for where I installed against a wall, but is sturdy and easy to put together!

Used this to mount a tv in my basement. Mounted easily and does the job.

Install went smoothly for my husband. Solid and secure. Not much tilt but swizzle is good. Happy to finally hang the TV.

Sturdy mount. Built-in outlet is nice. Rotates 180 degrees. Probably took me an hour to install and attach TV and hang. Directions could have been a little better but it became clear after awhile. Hardware for every situation was included.

The ceiling mount was easy to put together & lets me adjust the viewing angle as needed. I like having the outlet up top and space inside the pole for cords. But...due to being an older 65lb tv it was difficult to hold up the tv while attaching to the bracket and not easy to adjust height after tv is attached. The ceiling mount saves a lot of space vs a floor tv stand in a small room.
