First, I bought this item thinking it was the same material of a gaiter I already own. It was close to $20 and spectacular for my runs and yardwork. I was told it was polyester, but apparently it's some polyester mix.This was why I purchased this item; I thought it was the same material like the one I own. It's not. If you know how polyester feels, this item is 100% polyester. Initially, gaiter felt warm for the material when worn around my neck. But once I started running (used as a bandana), it was fantastic!I sweat a lot when I run, and this did a great job expelling the sweat away from my eyes. I didn't need to adjust it once during my 2 mile run. Best part is it actually cooled my forehead! Once I got it all sweaty, I brought it back to my neck and it was very cool to the touch. I then walked outside with my family for another 40 minutes never needing to adjust it as a bandana.I got these styles and colors (9 pk solid colors) because my sons wanted certain colors. My wife also picked out one for her.I'll place one in my vehicle to always have one when I travel and more likely one in my BOB (preppers know that acronym)I've been very happy with them even though I was initially disappointed they weren't the same material as my other one, but they do the job I need and work great for me.I would NOT use them as a stand alone protective facemask against COVID19. Material is too porous. Perhaps fold these in half with a folded cotton bandana inside or those mechanic towels to act as another layer of protection. This would allow easy adjustment and extra layers of protection.I'm no doctor, but this is just my opinion.

Wear as often as I like and like the colors. Not to tight or loose the multicolor are a plus for the price

I bought these to supplement my face covering options for work. I like the sewn hems on both ends to give a little more stability, but the material and size make them more constrictive than other "buffs" I have used.They don't stay up well unless you're wearing a hat of some sort and for someone with a giant head like mine, they tend to be less comfortable, but more substantial than the other's I am using for the purpose.Great value, though!

If you're looking at this to meet mask requirements, look elsewhere. This is simply a cooling neck sleeve in a polyester birds-eye knit (it has visible holes in the knit, like basketball shorts material - VERY breathable, stretchy). I don't even think it's very dust-blocking to be honest. Rather than return them, I'm going to do my own sewing hack and add an inner pocket for a filter since they were cheap and came in a multi-pack. They are not 'germ ready' right out of the pack unless you double the tube over and add a filter layer.

These are really great for the cost. But, after you wear them once or twice they stretch out a bit and don't stay tight. They seem to tighten up again after washing though. So, I need to wash them after wearing once or twice.

I was hoping these would sit loose around my neck when not in use and fit lightly across my face. Well, not so much. They're narrow and, as is, and fit very snug around my nose/head/face. I've stretched about all I can stretch them and they loosen up a little but still pretty snug. Ran them through a wash with fabric softener and they eased up a bit. Fabric isn't too thick but is a little thicker than I'd hoped. When wearing them for a little while my face is sweating just a bit underneath it.All in all not a bad deal for nine gaiters but wish they were just a little bit lighter and looser for an adult head.

They are thin but what did expect for the price. Would be good while out in the cold but as for covid mask, I would not use. You can see through it when you are sliding it over your head. They are kind of tight and smash your nose down so you might want to breathe out your mouth. Probably good for hunters if looking for an affordable gaiter. For the price you get 9 so I'm happy.

For where masks are required

Perfect for a child, not for adults though IMO.

If you wear a bigger hat size avoid these.The colours are nice. The material is more mesh like one would find in a 1980s or early 90s workout jersey for football. That material limits its stretchability. It is too small for my head. I wear a large/XL baseball cap and I have bever had any problems with any other Buffs or other tubular gater scarves I've own in the past. These may be okay for a smaller headed person, teenager or women.

I work and I have to wear a mask all day very comfortable to wear

Don't get if your wanting to stay warm.And its also not good for covid mask either.Uncomfortable too
