This Ladybird reading scheme is excellent. I taught my daughters to read at a very early age with this series and now my daughters in turn are helping their own children. We adults may find them repetitive but that’s just what is needed to give young learners confidence. I cannot praise the series highly enough.

A brilliant series for teaching children how to read. My children who are just learning to read, love them and the beautiful illustrations that accompany the text. Also it is nice for children to read books that are just about everyday life and things they can relate to. I would highly recommend this series to anyone who would like to teach their children to read.

Grandaughter reads these books well. She also loves the pictures. Takes me back to my school days.

This book is very old fashioned but does the job and is a good reading and writing aid.

This book has helped my children so much, it was one of the first books I learnt to read with 40 years ago, and living in a different country I have used it with my children. Its truly wonderful
