Gas Connector Kit, Gas Hose Gas Line for Gas Water Heater, Stove, Dryer, 48 Inch Stainless Steel with Yellow Coated

Bought this because of the price. I couldn't believe how inexpensive it was and that it came with so many ends. Most gas connectors only have 2 ends most of the time they are both male fittings sometimes one of each but this kit came with 3 sets of ends which worked great for me. Most people don't realize the inside of the 1/2" ends are 3/8" threaded on the inside which gives you more options. Comes with Teflon tape also but I would use pipe dope instead of the tape. Never put sealant on the mechanical joint threads.

Home Depot wanted $40 for a 48inch gas line.This was almost half the price and it came with 5 adapters!!!!!As a residential property manager I will be buying this over and over again given the price point.

It did it's job. I'd advise to spray connections with soapy water for leaks. Might need to tighten connections.

I had to go back and re-read the listing and details after receiving this product. While it correctly states the gas valve is 1/2", it does NOT state that the included adapters reduce to 3/8" and the flex line itself is only 3/8". That might not matter in most cases, but it could in some. It seems to work for my gas heating stove however.Also the included roll of tape is white, not yellow as is normal for gas rated tape. I used another roll of yellow I had on hand.

Replaced one that was leaking at the flare connection with no issues.
