I do not agree that this is a bad tool. It’s not the best but I am not cutting or making things that require a vice to be within 1000th of an inch. Actually it is a very stable tool when adjusted and tightened up. Nothing moves, which is what you want.

Got what I paid for. A hollow vise that looks good in pics but has slop and play in every direction or movement. It will clamp things and tighten down at least. Everything seems subpar with puts and voids visible in a few areas making the hollow design event more likely to fail. Casting seams are still there, razor sharp everywhere,not cleaned up, just painted over. Got what I paid for though... A cheap vise. Although it would likely work for a limited time i needs better QC if this is the standard that's being soldReturning immediately and investing in a better one.

I purchased the BestEquip 5' bench vise because it could function to hold both flat stock and round. The versatile jaws rotate to present a traditional clamp and one to hold a pipe. Most vise don't do this. Very pleased with both the design and construction material composed in the unit. My only recommendation is to send longer bolts to mount it as most bench's are thicker. Great unit, highly recommend it.

First of all, this is very solid and robust; it has two jaws, one conventional and the other designed to grip round objects either vertically or horizontally. It swivels on two axis. It would be hard to find a better one for the cost.Parts of it were slightly rusty, but cleaned up easily.

I bought this for my fiancé for a present and he loves it!

I used it for all my home projects and still has its tolerances and ruggedness - I even did a lot of hammering and bending of cold and hot metals!

Heavy duty. Functions well. Good price point.
