I bought this shelf for my cats, installed it on the wall very high up offset from a tall bookcase for them to climb to. I hot glued a carpet sample over it to make it more comfy for them, and cats use it. I like that it came with drywall anchors, conveniently, so it installed sturdy. Looks as expected per photo. It was a slight challenge to install it that high in the sequence of instructions, so I had to install the brackets to the wall first, and then shelf, because I could not reach. Instructions say to install brackets to shelf first, but that makes it more challenging for a one person install. But it was easy overall.

Shelves look nice, however I did not receive any screws, wall anchors or the mini levler. So unfortunately, I have to return the item.

You can use these in any room you like for decoration...

I really love that these shelves can be mounted either way. I used them as part of my cat shelf wall, so mounting them with the brackets on the bottom worked better. They are really easy to install, and I just upgraded the drywall mounts because I knew my cat would be jumping on and off of them. They look nice, but they could be easily painted if you wanted to.

So this is a simple set of two shelves and brackets.The shelves themselves are nicely finished, small but to me a good size to actually be used to display things. The black metal brackets are nicely finished, no bends, dings or finish issues.The design of the shelves lets them be mounted with the brackets on top or on bottom without looking odd.Other than that, they're shelves - it took me longer to decide where I wanted them than to put them up. You get eight long screws (and plastic wall anchors) to mount them to the wall, and nine small screws (a spare, of course) tto secure the shelves to the brackets. They go up quickly and, as mentioned, are "just right" - I don't think I'd go with a smaller or less deep shelf. I dont' think I'd put anything exceptionally heavy on them, but for a little display shelf? This looks nice and is easy to put up in a few minutes.

Great quality product at a good price. Very durable and sturdy item that is easy to assemble and install. Good size width and length.
